Our Banking practice focuses on improving the effectiveness of the IT organization, enabling technology to more efficiently and/or cost effectively support key business imperatives and strengthening the alignment between technology and business operations across the financial services industry. We deliver tailored solutions (vendor agnostic) based on the specific needs of our clients’ business requirements. Your key responsibilities
You will lead large scale client engagements. Consistently deliver quality client services. Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget. We will expect you to effectively lead and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Providing constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members. Fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. Playing an active role in counseling and mentoring junior consultants within the organization.
One of your key roles will be to generate new business opportunities. Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients.
To qualify for the role you must have
a bachelor's degree and approximately 8 years of related work experience; or a master's degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience
a degree in business administration, engineering, or in a business related field; CFA, CPA and or MBA a plus
a minimum of 6+ years of experience in leading multiple large-scale operations and technology change initiatives with "brand name" consulting firms, or internal consulting organizations at leading corporations
a minimum of 6+ years experience in Financial Services, with deep domain knowledge in (consumer, mortgage -loan originations, servicing fulfillment and securitization/secondary markets, auto - finance, credit cards/payments and core banking - eCommerce/Mobile Banking, Deposits, Checking, ATM etc.)
understanding of key technology and services vendors and products supporting the lending industry
prior experience in designing operations processes, identifying target metrics, developing business requirements for systems solutions
strong analytical skills; specifically, the ability to diagnose end-to-end lending originations and servicing operations to identify opportunities to improve performance and effectiveness; six-sigma certification or exposure to other process improvement methodologies a plus
strong skills in developing business cases and financial impact of the proposed initiatives on the client's
Ideally, you’ll also have experience in:
definition of business and technical requirements
design of business solutions and technology solutions
vendor selection
system design and implementation support
system selection and proof of concept
data mapping and conversion
quality assurance and testing
business and IT process reengineering
program/project management and implementation planning (PMO)
Previous project experiences in:
business rules/business process management automation/workflow
document management automation
enterprise application integration
package Implementation
reconciliation redesign or improvement
Previous application/package experience in any of the following a plus:
- EMC (Documentum), Opentext, Pega Systems, Tibco, iLog, jRules, & Fiserv
