Do you want to be part of one of the World’s leading consultancies? Do you have an analytical mindset, experience with IRB models and want to apply your quantitative excellence to challenging projects within the financial sector? Then you could be our new consultant in the Quantitative Advisory Services team!
We are currently looking for a senior consultant with experience within the field of IRB models to join EY’s Quantitative Advisory Services team. The team focuses on financial risk and our main clients are financial institutions in the Nordic countries. We partner with EY colleagues both nationally and internationally to achieve our clients’ full potential.
Our Quantitative Advisory Services team is a Nordic leader in helping clients manage risk and uncertainty within the quantitative space. You will be part of a vibrant and social team that draws together specialist knowledge and experience from the financial sector. Our professionals focus on financial risk management, quantitative advisory and implementation of new financial sector regulation. Topics include credit risk modeling, market risk modeling, capital management, Basel III implementation, model validation and enhancement of the risk function.
The team has experienced impressive growth rates the last few years, expecting to continue on this path due to our highly skilled people and an ever-expanding market.
Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant in the Quantitative Advisory Services team you will be directly involved in implementing new models and regulations. Balancing the development of complex model components under strict regulative requirements, you will find yourself on a steep learning curve, although for this role we expect you to have some years of experience already.
In addition, your responsibilities will include day-to-day communication with project stakeholders, planning the work in the team and coaching less experienced colleagues with their tasks, as well as demonstrating active participation in Danish, Nordic and international network and learning events.
We are a young and highly specialized team based in Copenhagen with a Nordic focus, so we often work with both clients and colleagues from the other Nordic countries, and sometimes more international clients too. Some traveling must therefore be expected.
