Job Summary:

Time & Expense is responsible for reviewing, auditing and processing the expenses submitted by EY employees in adherence to firm’s policy as well as compliance with local countries governmental regulations and internal audit rules. Time & Expense provides a complex customer service for EY employees in regards to their expenses.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Performs assigned work, especially: ensuring all transactions are processed accurately as per procedures defined in documentation; ensuring targets are met according to SLA guidelines, taking ownership of expense reports audited to ensure highest quality, taking judgments based on various facts and documentation while processing expense reports, identifying potential areas for process improvements

  • Responds to routine and standard requests from customers (email and phone queries from EY employees and other departments )

  • Prepares deliverables in response to ad-hoc requests (any additional F&A tasks assigned by direct superior)

  • Works under guidance from supervisors or other delegated individuals in the initial stage but should be getting independent with familiar with the process.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Has fundamental knowledge of basic accounting concepts

  • Has basic positive personality: Probity, Integrity and Responsibility

  • Is familiar with basic office applications (especially excel)

  • Demonstrates good analytical skills and attention to details

  • Has good communication / customer handling skills

  • Is a good team player

  • Requires good sense of business judgment

  • Has relevant foreign language skills (min intermediate level of English and another language depending on the customer requirements,e.g. Korea, Vietnam)

Education:

  • Bachelor degree or above from a commercial, business or F&A related discipline

Experience:

  • No previous experience required on grade 1

  • Previous experience in related accounting process required at least 2 years on grade 2 or 3.
