Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Techno-Functional Senior Consultant

EY advises clients to understand, architect, select and implement leading-edge solutions required to efficiently run their businesses, with a focus on digital and cloud. These service areas span e-commerce, solution architecture, mobile applications, digital platform architecture, digital technology strategy and digital IT operations.

Your key responsibilities

You will focus on the evaluation, design, customization, and optimization of digital and cloud-based solutions. You will team with various EY groups with digital capabilities to pursue and deliver digital engagements and deliver solutions that will bring our clients' digital vision and strategy to life. 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Working in project teams through agreed-upon phases of project governance, requirements definition, vendor selection, risk analysis, customization, configurations, testing, training and rollout of a client's project life cycle

  • Providing broad technical and functional knowledge of various key technologies and business platforms

  • Teaming with client technology and business professionals, and third-party strategic alliances

  • Developing long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally

  • Interacting and communicating effectively with teammates, clients, stakeholders and executives

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree and four to six years implementing OTM on-premises and cloud versions

  • Actively contributed to two to three full life cycle OTM implementations in large and complex environments

  • Actively contributed towards one to two end-to-end full life cycle implementations with experience migrating OTM on-premises version to cloud environments

  • Been responsible for deployments of the OTM core modules with deep functional and domain expertise and hands-on experiences in configurations, training, knowledge transfer, customer communications and documentations

  • Experience in designing solutions across modes of Transportation, including the Truck Load, Less Than Truck Load, Ocean, Air and Parcels

  • Thorough understanding and hands-on experience with technical configurations, such as Business Automation Agents, SQL, PL/SQL and Stored Procedures

  • Comprehensive logistics, supply chain process and functional knowledge

  • Hands-on experience with interface design and mapping

  • Contributed to:

  • Functional and technical discovery workshops

  • Performing fit-gap analysis (functional and technical)

  • Analyzing and transforming to application requirements

  • Communicating with the client

  • Preparing and reviewing documentation

  • Working experience with on-site and offshore delivery models

  • Knowledge integrating OTM with ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP

  • Master data management and data integration skills

  • Flexibility and willingness to travel and a valid driver's license

Ideally, you'll also have

Degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, Management, Computer Engineering, MIS or Mathematics; master's degree in one of these areas preferred

  • Industry certifications and prior consulting experience
