We are seeking an experienced and motivated Talent professional to support our Global Technology function, Enterprise Technology. Enterprise Technology is truly global with representation in over 140 countries. The Executive Talent Team (ETT) provides talent support to the Executive Leadership and nearly 30 different functions that form the Executive, each of which are at various stages of globalization and transformation. The approximately 18,000 people within the Executive are employed in member firms throughout the world (in 100+ countries). Our mission is to create the highest performing teams and delivering exceptional client service worldwide to this complex virtual organization. We do this by working closely with the function leaders on priority initiatives and other talent activities (e.g., performance management, talent management). We also work closely with the Regional Talent Teams through our distributed model to ensure that local processes such as employee relations support are available, as required, to our leaders and people.

The opportunity

As part of the ETT, you will have an opportunity to directly interface with senior leadership to provide high quality talent support. One of our current team members will be welcoming a new addition to their family, resulting in a 12-month leave coverage opportunity to serve as a Talent Consultant for this key function within Technology.

Your key responsibilities

This critical role:

  • Serves as primary contact point for designated senior leaders within two key global Enterprise technology functions.

  • Provides coaching and counseling to senior leadership team on global talent issues and initiatives

  • Analyzes information, makes recommendations and helps implement global plans and change initiatives that will drive business results.

  • Makes key decisions and suggestions based on a solid understanding of talent principles, business objectives and needs analysis.

  • Supports talent processes, including but not limited to:

  • Performance management

  • Career development, coaching, and mentoring

  • Integration of global processes and programs

  • Partner and director promotions

  • Workforce planning

  • Change management programs

  • Develops and maintains relationships with sponsors and stakeholders; manages their expectations; negotiates with and influences them to overcome any issues that arise within specific talent initiatives

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor's/University degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Proven HR generalist/business partnering experience (e.g., performance management, employee relations)

  • Excellent project, stakeholder and change management skills

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Relevant experience – having delivered/managed numerous talent initiatives and processes

  • Prior work history in a consulting organization or in professional services

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-border, virtual environment

  • Strong listening and communication skills (writing, speaking, presenting, listening, responding)

  • The ability to work both independently and within teams, including virtual teams

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Influencing skills; ability to work with ambiguity, and build consensus across diverse, often global, groups

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $98,100 to $178,100. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $117,700 to $202,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
