EY would like to expand the European Commission (EC) Assurance Team and is looking for an Audit Manager EU Projects who would be interested in performing assignments under several framework contracts signed between EY and the European Commission.
Under the supervision of the Audit Partner, the Audit Manager EU Projects will:
Prepare the offers to be submitted to the EC for specific audit assignments (e.g. budget preparation, writing of the technical offer and preparation of CVs).
Lead and perform audit assignments worldwide:
Maintain contact with the Audit Task Manager.
Prepare the audit fieldwork ( Establish the risk based audit strategy and audit programme ).
Execution of the audit fieldwork on-site.
Prepare the audit reports to be submitted to the EC.
Instruct and supervise the team member(s).
Follow-up on assignments deadlines and deliverables.
Master degree in economics, finance or internal control.
Audit certification is an asset.
Experience in leading financial audits and audit agreed-upon procedures within the context of the European Commission.
Knowledge of the EC rules, financial regulations and PRAG.
Fluency in English. Knowledge of any other language would be considered an asset (especially French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Arabic and Russian).
Rigorous and capable of organizing your work efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Sense of initiative and able to anticipate, propose and implement solutions.
Strong capacity to work independently, but good team working abilities.
Able to juggle different tasks at the same time and to respect deadlines.
Be willing to travel (+/- 70% of your time)..
