Your key responsibilities
You will be responsible for editing, optimizing and managing content for our flagship website, ey.com/global, so that it delivers against our editorial strategy, meets our quality criteria and drives readers to next-best actions. You will actively partner with marketers around the world to help them deliver effective marketing campaigns, through both hands-on project work well as training and documentation for broader teams. You also will also guide and coach a team of offshore editors who run our editorial quality assurance process, to ensure they understand, enforce and can effectively evangelize our editorial standards on content published through our self-service model.
Skills and attributes for success
Advise senior stakeholders on the best way to shape their ideas into compelling packages that have a distinct point of view, advance the dialogue and driver users through the marketing funnel
Advocate for digital best practices and how to use different design elements to create effective, engaging user experiences
Write display copy that’s engaging, brand-compliant and search engine-optimized
Make decisions daily that balance the need to operate nimbly to meet business needs while also making sure that quality and standards are maintained
Manage multiple tasks and projects within in a fast-paced environment
To qualify for the role you must have
Excellent US English written and verbal communication skills, with an understanding of how messages may be received globally
Strong understanding of digital publishing and best practices
Experience working within a content management system to create outstanding digital experiences
Strong influencing skills
Strong project and time management ability
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience working in a large-scale marketing environment, setting up and managing projects using Excel or other tools
Able to work effectively with co-located, global teams
Experience in either journalism or a corporate marketing environment
