Your key responsibilities
CIO’s are positioned to partner closely with the business to drive capital efficient growth, enable customer experience, and transform their technology portfolio. IT organizations have historically run in a project-led, waterfall methodology with increasing pressure from the business to run IT at a reduced cost year over year. There is an opportunity to optimize IT’s back-office operational focus and reallocate to value-add, business enabling, revenue generating products. In the digital world, most business investments and ventures will require technology. To enable digital transformation, EY influences technology executives to drive outcomes and revenue in partnership with their business.
Skills and attributes for success
A senior Consultant is responsible for delivering client engagements across the full spectrum of product delivery including: Business & IT Transformation Management, Product Organization Enablement, Product Strategy, Planning, and Design, and Product Implementation & Delivery.
To qualify for the role you must have
3 to 5 years of experience as a consultant in the IT field or comparable industry experience
Demonstrates good understanding of design principles and design frameworks to facilitate conversations with business leaders and product teams
Understanding of Agile software development frameworks as they apply to the SDLC
Demonstrates ability to liaise between business, technology and design teams
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience working with a Big 4 or boutique technology consulting firm preferred
Experience developing product roadmaps leveraging Agile methodology
Experience working in a fast-paced team and ability to adapt quickly to change
Experience participating in development & implementation of IT strategy, digital transformation, agile operating models, & customer experience frameworks
What we look for
Ability to collaborate and communicate with technical resources to understand user story acceptance criteria
Experience reviewing product user guides and training material to reflect current functionality
Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with business teams, technical teams, experience design teams, product managers, product owners and testers to define business features and requirements
Capability to provide analytical support to the product group, research and present insights and customer requirements to generate recommendations for the product team
