Oracle Services – Cloud SCM CPQ - Senior Consultant - Consulting - Location Open

The Oracle Services practice assists our national consulting practices in planning, pursuing, delivering, and managing large, complex full lifecycle initiatives along with providing experience in leading practices, methods, and resources in the Oracle applications and technology space. This group advises clients within Healthcare & Life Sciences; Energy; Advanced Manufacturing & Mobility; Private Equity; Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Technology; Consumer Products & Retail; Government & Public Sector; and Financial Services sectors. Our team looks to understand, architect, and implement the core applications and technology required to run their business. The opportunity

This is a rapidly growing area, so you will have plenty of opportunity to develop your skillset & collaborate with others to keep up with the ever-growing demands within the Lead to Cash space. Most of your time will be spent engaging with our clients' team and we'll look to you to provide our clients with a unique business perspective on how they must continue to innovate and remain competitive in this ever-changing industry.

Your key responsibilities

This position will support Oracle Services Supply Chain/Asset Management sub-practice as a member of project teams working with our clients and guiding them through agreed upon phases of the ERP project governance, requirements definition, technology risk analysis, customization, testing, implementation, training, and rollout of a client's project lifecycle. They will also provide advisory services as part of assessments and support services either as post implementation support or manage service agreements.   

Skills and attributes for success

  • Actively contributed towards one to two end-to-end full life cycle implementations with experience migrating CPQ on-premises version to cloud environments

  • Been responsible for deployment of CPQ with deep functional and domain expertise and hands-on experiences in configurations, training, knowledge transfer, customer communications and documentations

  • Thorough understanding and hands-on experience with technical configurations, such as Business Automation Agents, SQL, PL/SQL and Stored Procedures

  • Experience in working with sales and engineering when developing go to market strategy

  • Good understanding of product structures (made to stock, made to order), configurations, product pricing and quote management

  • Comprehensive CPQ process and functional knowledge including functional and technical understanding of CPQ including simple and configurable products, market, currency, attributes, compatibility rules, pricing, quote design and proposal documents

  • Understanding the item creation process and potential integration capabilities between multiple ERP systems

  • Understanding of information architecture related to sales, dealer or customer experience and usability design techniques

  • Understanding of internet technologies, including ecommerce, mobile, social, SEO, and analytics platforms

  • Hands-on experience with interface design and mapping

  • Deep Understanding of the Lead-To-Cash business process and supporting technologies

  • Functional and technical discovery workshops

  • Performing fit-gap analysis (functional and technical)

  • Working experience with on-site and offshore delivery models

  • Knowledge integrating CPQ with ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP

  • Experience with CPQ tools including Oracle CPQ (Big Machines), Salesforce CPQ and Conga CPQ

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and 2 years of related work experience

  • 3-5 years of experience implementing CPQ on-premises and cloud versions

  • 1-3 full lifecycle implementations in any of the above

  • Familiarity Oracle methodologies such as OUM or AIM

  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise business processes with technology skills

  • Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues

  • Willingness to travel up to 60% to meet client obligations

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Order Management & Pricing experience

  • Retail inventory experience

  • Degree in Business, or related field (MBA or MS degree preferred)

  • Cloud Certifications in Cloud Applications

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $88,800 to $162,800. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $106,600 to $185,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
