You have the opportunity to become a thought leader and change agent by applying your technical skill and innovative thinking to build quality engineering solutions and help our clients re-think test design, data management, automation, pipelines and reporting. Specifically, your mission will be to be a leader in building our quality engineering practice by partnering with other technology practices to design, build, deploy and customize complex and integrated QE solutions that influence all aspects of software engineering and delivery. You will be expected to listen and understand client needs and create and deliver impactful, innovative solutions.
Your Key Responsibilities
Everything you’ll do will come back to providing exceptional technical and strategic leadership to our clients and for the growth of our QE Innovation & Automation competency. Colleagues and clients from a diverse array of backgrounds will look to you first for answers, so you’ll be a high-profile contact when it comes to resolving complex issues. As you build your knowledge and experience, you’ll become a credible advisor, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire industries.
Become a driving force behind the strategy growth of our technical testing capabilities with new and existing clients
Create a vision for new QE assets and capabilities leveraging the latest technology trends in test automation, data analytics and performance engineering
Design and lead teams to innovate and solve complex problems for our clients to deliver value beyond traditional testing services including using machine learning and other cutting edge technology to lead our clients into the future
Work with internal and external parties to develop a deep understanding of our existing and potential capabilities and be able to adapt and apply them to meet the needs of our clients

To qualify, you must have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and approximately 8 years of relevant work experience
At least 6 years experience in:
Strategy, design and development of technology products, assets and capabilities such as test automation or performance engineering
building and inspiring high performing technical teams
At least 4 years of experience in leading technical teams
At least 3 years of experience in architecting technical solutions
Designing and building scalable, innovative solutions for client challenges
Defining technical architecture including code structure
Working knowledge of Java and coding practices/standards – give technical direction to technical teams, enough to perform code reviews, provide code refactoring recommendations
Excellent collaboration and teaming skills in diverse environments
Excellent communication and executive presence with executives, business and technical teams
Ideally, you’ll also have
Approximately 5 years of financial services experience (Capital Markets, Wealth and Investment Management, Banking, Mortgage, Insurance) also including prior consulting experience
Relevant industry certification
A “go-getter” attitude, passion to constantly learn, improve and perform at the highest level
We would expect for you to be available to travel outside of your assigned office location at least 50% of the time, plus commute within the region. Successful candidates must work in excess of standard hours when necessary. A valid passport is required
