Job Description

  • An exciting opportunity with our International Tax Advisory team.

  • Your main objective is to assist engagement management under the guidance and supervision of team managers

  • Develop, mentor and supervise Analysts and Advanced Analysts

  • Foster collaboration and constructive communication within the team

  • Display general knowledge of engagement “big picture”

  • Manage impact on project economics, including controlling costs, monitoring budget to actual differences

  • Take ownership of your schedule and proactively seek work when necessary to meet your annual chargeability goal

  • Adhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently.

Are you:-

  • Experienced in demonstrating project management, leadership, communication, relationship building, analytical,interpersonal, multi-tasking and organization skills and focus on quality and attention to detail

  • Demonstrating advanced understanding of International tax, FATCA, CRS principles and guide the team to apply these on client projects.

  • Experienced to handle multiple engagements within the practice assigned and therefore must have the ability to multi-task.

  • Demonstrating strong proficiency in effectively using and understanding EY applications and databases and work extensively with various technology tools

  • Proficient in strong communication, both written and verbal and ability to present research findings

  • Proficient using MS Office tools specifically Powerpoint, WORD, EXCEL and Advance Excel.

Experience :

  • 3-5 Years International tax or related tax experience in a client facing environment with a reputed organisation. Preference would be given to candidates with Financial Services and FATCA/CRS experience.

Education/Qualification:

  • Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

  • B.Com / BBA/ BBM/ BA (Economics)/ M.Sc (Statistics)/ MA (Economics)/ MBA/CFA

  • Any Additional Degree/ Diploma/Specialization in fields related to Tax/International Taxation

  • Setting strategy for how work is assigned and performed under the guidance of the reporting Manager.

  • Works with resource manager to ensure the strategy is met.

How you can make a difference:

  • Develop understanding of International tax concepts such as FATCA/CRS by keeping up-to date on tax regulations and applying the concepts in everyday work.

  • Delivering projects consistently by applying designated methodology, processes, standards and technology tools and with respect to turnaround, quality, handling workflow distribution and meeting volumeWorking as single point of contact on engagements for users regarding service delivery and day-to-day operations

  • Prepare tax advisory memos and other deliverables

  • Coordinating with various stakeholders within as well as outside the organisation for effective management of the client work.

  • Drafting proposals and assisting on other business development initiatives.

  • Carrying out international tax and regulatory research and applying the same in the advisory initiatives carried out for the engagement/clients.

  • Monitor metrics for service delivery, opportunities for improving customer satisfaction and implement appropriate modifications to process

  • Instil EY culture at the individual level

  • Help implement strategic initiatives, as defined by Service Line Leaders

  • Proactively and timely identify operational problems and propose solutions. Escalate issues where required to the reporting Managers
