Job Summary

As an Oracle advisory professional, you’ll contribute to client engagements and internal projects. An important part of your role will be to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. You’ll also identify potential business opportunities for EY within existing engagements, and escalate these as appropriate. Similarly, you’ll anticipate and identify risks within engagements and share any issues with senior members of the team.

In line with EY commitment to quality, you’ll confirm that work is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer. As an influential member of the team, you’ll help to create a positive learning culture, coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.

Client responsibilities

  • Participate in risk advisory engagements

  • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress

  • Help prepare reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties

  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel

  • Build strong internal relationships within EY Advisory Services and with other services across the organization

People responsibilities

  • Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff

  • Contribute to people-related initiatives including recruiting and retaining advisory professionals

  • Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills of staff

  • Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures

Technical skills requirements

  • Preferably CA/MBA/MCA/B.E/B.Tech with 2 to 4 years of implementation and advisory experience of Oracle Cloud ERP security and controls (Release 12 or later)

  • Functional knowledge of Oracle Cloud Procurement, Supply chain management is must

  • Candidate will be responsible for security and controls support for Oracle Cloud ERP implementations and assessments

  • Deep knowledge of system development life cycle and working with security and control stakeholders and project teams

  • Understanding of segregation of duty concerns in an ERP environment along with an ability to design SOD risk libraries

  • Excellent understanding of various business-processes like Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Hire to Retire and Record to Report

  • Ability to design risk control matrices by conducting workshops with business process owners

  • Identify potential opportunities to automate current ITDM/manual controls leveraging Oracle Financials Cloud automated controls

  • Ability to simplify data and explain trends through excel tables, dash-boards, power-point presentations is mandatory

  • Ability to work in cross-functional team involving technical and functional consultants

  • Ability to develop/decode complex SQL/PLSQL scripts and VBA based excel macros

  • Experience with Information Security, Internal and External Audits is an additional advantage

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and defects related to Oracle Fusion modules

  • Contribute to engagement planning and ensuring that products/deliverables meet the contract work plan

  • Ability to create and execute test plans for standard and client-specific requirements

Additional requirements

  • Demonstrated track record with a blue chip consulting organization and/or a blue chip organization

  • Strong academic record including a degree
