Managed Services is a critical component of the EY Vision 2020+ strategy and a new area of growth for the firm. GMS is already a $5.3 Billion business (FY20), a target of $6 Billion in FY21 and has plans to grow in excess of $10 Billion over the next few years. In order to meet this strategic objective we are undertaking a change in our operating model to enable our Areas (Americas, EMEIA, APAC) to have the right team in place for Managed Services pursuits.
As wavespace grows, we are looking for top talent to help scale our way of working. Part of that effort includes building portfolios of experiences that can be shared across wavespace locations and design teams, enabling best in class, consistent client experiences and even faster responsiveness to market needs.
Your key responsibilities
As wavespace Experience Designer, you’ll help design experiences, both bespoke and repeatable, to be used across wavespace for a diverse roster of clients.
Work with the Experience Leader/Manager to define strategy and design for customer experience
Collaborate with the Experience team to devise strategic solutions based on multiple forms of research and analysis
Support clients in the use of collaboration software being used in the client experience
Offer ideas on how to approach client challenges including industry trends and user experience
Communicate complex technical concepts simply and effectively to all audiences using sketches, storytelling, mood boards/storyboards, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and/or data visualizations
Take a collaborative approach to work, with motivation to develop your skills by taking ownership of new challenges and have a genuine interest in solving complex business problems
Help lead workshops with clients to understand needs, articulate vision, and support design strategies and experiences that meet their vision and needs
Skills and attributes for success
This is a highly visible role with significant client interaction.
To qualify you must have
Proven proficiency in design-thinking methodology and approach
Professional or high-level educational experience with multi/specific design field(s) - visual, interaction, industrial, digital, etc.
Professional background that includes either
In-house design/innovation experience
Design/innovation experience from another consultancy
Ideally, you’ll also have
Design thinking degree
Strong client-facing consulting experience
