Business System Analyst - Senior Analyst (BCM Tech - Service Delivery Center)

This practice also has several Service Delivery Centers that are made up of high-performing US-based resources who work closely with our experienced client serving professionals to deliver project-based work and managed services to our US-based Financial Services clients. The opportunity

Work as part of a SDC project team delivering EY's capabilities in configurations, integration and validations of packaged solutions and platforms (FIS, AFS, Temenos, etc.) as well as off-platform services across front / middle / back office business processes in the Consumer Banking, Capital Markets, or Commercial Banking domains.

The Technology Solutions Delivery practice offers global and regional financial services clients the assistance needed to improve their performance in a rapidly changing business environment. We assemble experienced multidisciplinary teams, use consistent and proven global methodologies and draw on the full breadth of EY's global reach, depth of capabilities and knowledge. Collectively, the group has a comprehensive skill set, which supports the delivery of technology, operations, compliance, and risk projects for top clients in the U.S. financial services industry. Over the last several years, the Banking Team has played leadership roles in delivering complex digital development, technology / business transformation, platform modernization, operations redesign and restructuring initiatives. Collectively, these projects span the consumer, capital markets and wholesale banking industries.

Your key responsibilities

The Senior Analyst will take direction and guidance from both project team and client resources and

  • Perform tasks to prepare and complete work products

  • Delegate tasks to more junior level resources and assist in managing the ground-level activities of the team to bring work products to completion.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Key Technology Concepts (including but not limited to):

  • Multiple facets of the software development life cycle in a range of methodologies (e.g., Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, etc.), focused on either solution architecture, requirements definition, UX / UI design, systems analysis, technical design, data analysis, testing and implementation

  • Business architecture domains and exposure to industry frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, BIAN)

  • Documenting business and system requirements as well as functional specifications

  • SDLC/agile supporting the implementation of vendor packages

  • Execution across all SDLC/agile delivery functions supporting the implementation of vendor packages for Core Banking (e.g., Lending, Deposit Vendor Solutions)

  • An understanding of the following key technology concepts (including but not limited to):

  • Enterprise Application Architecture

  • Microservices / Microapps

  • Service Oriented Architecture

  • PaaS / BaaS / SaaS / IaaS

  • Mobile Technology

  • Cognitive Services

  • Cloud

  • Financial Services experience is a plus

  • Senior Analyst will have the ability to prioritize his / her workload, as well as strong teaming collaboration and communication skills. Senior Analysts are expected to be able to do the following:

To qualify for the role you must have

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or other related Technical field

Experience:

A minimum of 4 years' experience working as technology professional, financial services industry or comparable experience working in financial technologies is a plus

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Business System Analysis including Data Analysis, Data Mapping and Conversion

  • Business and IT process reengineering

  • Platform and Package Implementations (e.g. Configurations, Validations, Deployments, Integrations)

  • System implementation and Post Go Live support

  • Enterprise application integration

  • Custom development

  • Reconciliation, Redesign or Improvement

  • Proof of concept design and implementation

  • Quality assurance and automation testing

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time
