And as an Audit Senior, you’ll be at the heart of that goal, personally visiting high-profile clients on site to understand their unique needs and build your reputation as a trusted business advisor.

Your key responsibilities
You’re likely to balance your time between managing a team of assurance professionals across a portfolio of projects, and personally engaging with our clients. Performing complex and specific audit procedures, while developing effective, client-focused audit strategies
Coaching and managing a driven team of audit professional, facilitating them to have the information, tools and opportunities they need to grow
Proactively building relationships that support our ability to provide tailored services that meet a wide range of assurance needs and contribute to new business development
Identifying and reacting to potential risks and developing new ways to improve our products and processes that promote growth and increase revenue
Continually updating your understanding of business trends and emerging technologies to maintain your reputation as a trusted business advisor
To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
At least 2 years of related work exprience in audit field for insurance, banking or asset management industries.
Eligibility for US CPA Licensure in work state location.
Ideally you’ll also have
A firm understanding of engagement economics
A proven ability to build a network of contacts and mutual business relationships

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $68,200 to $112,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $81,800 to $127,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
