Key Responsibilities

  • Consulting with the Recruitment Managers regarding recruitment demand

  • Understanding recruiting demands and skills profiles within the relevant Service Line

  • Reviewing job specifications and obtain sign off

  • Drafting and approving adverts

  • Making sure the job profiles/specifications are loaded on Taleo and the internal staff are aware of all vacancies

  • Agency briefing on current roles

  • Managing end to end recruitment processon Taleo

  • Using creative and innovative sourcing methods to acquire suitable candidates

  • Conducting all recruitment and selection activities in line with the Firms' Recruitment and Employment Equity Policies and relevant legislative requirements

  • Screening applications and short-listing candidates for the Recruitment Manager’s review

  • Conducting competency based interviews with the Recruitment Manager

  • Conducting work history reference checks

  • Presenting short list of interviewed candidates to the Recruitment Manager to be interviewed

  • Preparing offers and presenting offer documents

  • Co-ordinating offers and ensuring that contracts are signed

  • Informing potential applicants about job or career opportunities in firm

  • Compiling weekly recruitment status update reports

  • Conducting regular process, database and Recruitment Folder quality checks

  • Vendor Management – loading of invoices and ad hoc escalations

  • Building effective relationships with Service Lines and Recruitment Suppliers

  • Uploading new joiners on GHRS system

  • Compile new joiner’s starter packs

  • Candidate Assessments co-ordination

  • Preparing the weekly vacancy reports for the Service Lines COO

Qualifications and Experience

  • A matric and tertiary qualification

  • HR qualification

  • Minimum 2 years Recruitment administration experience.
