Communications Supervising Associate, Consumer & Health Industry Group
We are seeking a dynamic Communications Manager at the Supervising Associate level to join our EY Americas Consumer & Health Industry Group team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive internal communications and engagement strategies for the Consumer & Health Industry Group, comprised of four sub-sectors: Retail, Consumer, Health, and Life Sciences. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and a proven track record in managing complex communication projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in stakeholder engagement, content creation, and digital communications. Your expertise will drive internal collaboration, enhance our market presence, and support our business objectives. Essential Functions of the Job:
Build relationships with key stakeholders to provide effective communications support aligned with approved business goals and objectives.
Coordinate and optimize the use of resources such as creative and deployment services to ensure impactful and timely results.
Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations, coupled with attentive listening and interpretation abilities.
Showcase proven teamwork and leadership capabilities, with a track record of collaborating across teams and sharing and leveraging best practices.
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities :
Develop a communications strategy, calendars, and timelines to achieve strategic objectives.
Guide and influence leadership on the selection of appropriate communication channels, using metrics and data for decision-making.
Evaluate the effectiveness of communication plans regularly and make necessary adjustments.
Serve as the project manager for significant initiatives, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
Manage essential resources required for successful execution of projects.
Direct the day-to-day internal communications function for the four sectors under your purview.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Earns recognition for knowledge both within and outside their business unit, establishing themselves as a subject matter expert.
Demonstrate outstanding project management skills, ensuring efficient and effective completion of tasks.
Utilize proficiency in Microsoft 365, with knowledge of Creative Suite considered a bonus.
Innovate by exploring and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions to enhance communication goals.
Supervision Responsibilities:
The candidate will operate independently within the communications domain, with minimal oversight, focusing on delivering exceptional results. Work is evaluated based on the outcomes achieved rather than the process followed.
Other Requirements:
As the job involves preparing materials for various business groups, long hours may be required.
Job Requirements:
Education:
A bachelor’s degree with a marketing or communications major or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Approximately 7+ years of communications, branding or marketing experience.
Demonstrated project management and internal communications experience is required.

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $72,100 to $134,900. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $86,600 to $153,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
