Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is to prepare initial text formatting, edits, and create template-driven customer deliverables with speed and accuracy. Successfully produces complex conceptualization of ideas to create original art used in the development of electronic and print projects. Maintains and applies advanced design skills, intermediate multimedia skills and a broad knowledge of current design and production techniques. Offers multifaceted conceptual design and production solutions to internal and external customers based on strategies in relation to client business needs. The position uses advanced knowledge of firm standard applications, especially MS Office applications. Understands and anticipates customer’s needs to meet or exceed expectations. Works effectively in a team environment.

Purpose of the Job:

  • Effectively produces projects with speed and accuracy to meet deadlines.

  • Types, formats, checks mathematical accuracy, and spell checks all types of documents and templates.

  • Effectively utilizes styles, master pages and templates.

  • Reconciles revisions, checks punctuation, spelling, and formatting.

  • Imports graphical and data images into documents.

  • Performs CSG standard electronic file management and archiving.

  • Proficient and remains up-to-date with software tools and equipment required of the position, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign, Lotus Notes, etc.

  • Troubleshoots technical issues in text, graphic files, and printing.

  • Shares knowledge among team members regarding the use of master pages, style sheets, and firm-standard formatting in word processing functions.

  • Effectively participates as a team player in planning, scheduling, and production.

  • Assists with training new Document Specialist on policies, procedures, and functions.

  • Interfaces with CSG staff for best use of resources/abilities.

  • Knows, applies, and coaches others in firm-standard formatting and EY signature.

  • Pursues and shares best practices within department and among GSS/CSG staff.

  • Understands and strictly adheres to the quality standards and procedures established by Ernst & Young, including VI and branding guidelines.

  • Utilizes the SD Plus tool/web based database to ensure all time and materials are billed correctly;, project instructions and client interactions are fully documented.

  • May cross-train in additional CSG disciplines to provide flexibility during peak times

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Tools: Proficient in MS Office applications and should be computer savvy

Supervision Responsibilities:

Based on the capabilities, may be asked to lead a small team of resources

Job Requirements:

Education:

A diploma certificate in MS Office from a reputed institution.
