Job Description :

Scrum Masters are Servant Leaders and Coaches for an Agile Team. They Help educate the team in SAFe and Scrum or Kanban other Lean Agile EY Practices, Ensuring that the agreed Agile Process is being followed. they work remove impediments, and foster and environment for high - performing team dynamics .

Supervision Responsibilities.

A Scrum master is by definition a servant Leader for the team/s he/she is assigned to Direct Supervision is not however part of the function.

Essential Functions.

  • Exhibits Lean-Agile leadership. Exhibits the behaviors of a lean Agile Leader with a Lean- Agile Mindset.

  • Facilitates the Team's progress by conduction the Agile Ceremonies including Impediment & Blocker removal toward the goal.

  • Helps the team achieve in areas including quality, predictability, flow, and velocity. helps the team focus on daily and Iteration Goals in the context of team objectives.

  • Leads the team's efforts in relentless improvement.

  • Supports the Product Owner.

  • Builds a high- Performing team. Focuses on ever-improving team dynamics and performance .

  • Communicates with management and outside stakeholders. Helps protect the team from uncontrolled injection of work.

  • Promote Continuous delivery and other technical practices.

  • The Scrum Master helps coordinate inter-tem cooperation

  • Promote DevOps culture and tools.

Decision Making Responsibilities.

  • Acts on the basis of Existing procedures and directives.

  • Makes recommendations and/or takes decision in a shared manner based on existing procedures or practices.

  • Take decisions tending to give technical and /or functional solutions based existing procedures or practices.

  • Takes decision based on existing procedures or practices. Proposes new procedures and actions that contribute to problem resolution.

  • Develops and defines policies/actions that affect the activities and results of the Division in charge.

  • Develops and defines policies/actions that affect the activities and results of the company.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements.

  • Strong team player, able to work effectively as part of cross-functional and distributed team across multiple time zones.

  • Effective analytical skills to grasp complexities and perceive relationships among problems, issues and solutions.

  • Excellent Communicational skills (stakeholder management ,negotiation, Facilitation, influencing) including strong skills in active listening to improve team effectiveness and performance.

  • Dedicated professional towards meeting project deadlines in timely manner,

  • Able to operate independently and adapt quickly to change.

  • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skill to interact with the business in a clear and effective manner.

  • IT Infrastructure, Cloud and/or SW Developing background is preferred.

  • Participated in organizations transferring into an Agile methodology is preferred.

  • Experience in working with virtual team, is preferred.

  • Proficiency managing the existing tools MS office tools understanding(Word,Excel, PowerPoint is excluding) Project Management /collaboration tools like Team Foundation Server/Jira or related. Virtual & Collaboration such as SharePoint/confluence/virtual boars/etc.


  • Associate: 0 to 3 Years in the speciality

  • Senior Associate : 3 to 5 Years in the speciality

  • Supervising Associate : 5 to 10 Years in the Speciality

  • Assistant Director : 1 to 5 years of Team management .

  • Associate Director : More than 10 years in Management of Complex Teams.
