The opportunity

EY is looking for a skilled Creative Director/Lead who is inspired by culture, motivated by insights, and curious and open to the world around them. You’ll need to be a creative visionary dedicated to making creative work that people want to find and ultimately, share, both internally and externally.

As a Creative Director/Lead, you think of yourself as a talent who is as much an innovator and storyteller, always looking for ways to challenge the status quo. You have extensive experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, semi-structured environment. You are comfortable guiding teams, outside agencies, and/or production partners, but should be willing to roll up your sleeves to do the work as needed.

As a member of a fast-paced collaborative team, you’ll also be expected to be a quick, resourceful learner, technically savvy, detail-oriented, and willing to research the unknown.

Well versed in conceptual thinking, you’ll work on a wide range of projects with a heavy emphasis on developing creative to help bring the Americas EY Consulting brand to life through paid media campaigns and other marketing and communications channels. You’ll work with demand generation teams early in their strategic journey - conceptualizing proactive creative solutions to further Consulting at EY’s unique value proposition in technology enabled transformation. You’ll also provide strategic recommendations on how to embed the EY Consulting brand within internal channels as well as we look to inspire the next generation of consultants at EY.

You’ll be a highly strategic problem solver with a consistent track record for leading efforts to execute integrated marketing campaigns for a consistent experience across every customer touchpoint, including web, video/film, broadcast/podcast, print, social, sales support, events, and more. As this position oversees a team of highly talented paid media professionals, experience with paid media and how to optimize is critical.

Your key responsibilities

  • Working closely with external and internal agencies to build the Consulting at EY brand in the Americas from creative strategy, execution and production

  • Running development of executions leveraging the EY style guide that strongly resonate with a range of audiences while maintaining consistency for the brand

  • Leading the execution of creative solutions across a wide array of mediums, including illustration, animation, video, and photography

  • Responsible for ensuring engaging creative is placed through our paid media campaigns

  • Cultivating ongoing improvements in creative processes and methodologies

  • Inspiring and empowering others to create and solve, using the power of team to make scalable, balanced solutions

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders and outside agency partners to set the creative strategy to bring the brand to life across initiatives, channels and products

  • Overseeing the prioritization and assignment of all creative requests, and establishing processes to keep the team happy, creatively inspired, and focused on priorities

  • Developing an iterative approach to cultivate a testing culture for creative assets that drives performance

  • Creatively exploring, setting trends, and pushing boundaries

  • Onboarding and guiding the work of creative agencies and freelancers according to specialized skills required, budgets, timelines, and scope

  • Partnering with marketing stakeholders to ensure great user experiences through all marketing channels, optimized for response.

  • Superb full-time manager, able to be hands-on with creative oversight on key projects

  • Ability to take in agency partner feedback and turn into compelling next rev concepts, ideas, and designs

  • Be able to communicate effectively with senior management, with the ability to translate creative strategy into business performance

  • Be comfortable with ambiguity and demonstrate a proven ability to create clarity in it

To qualify you must have

  • 12+ years of demonstrated experience in agency & in-house creative departments (preferably inside of technology companies) with an excellent B2B portfolio

  • Expertise at facilitating a culture of collaboration between creative and business stakeholders

  • Deep understanding of brand, visual design, writing and user experience to design inspiring and intuitive experiences

  • Be experienced in all forms and mediums (website design, digital, response-based email, print, experiential and earned media, etc.)

  • Experience leading paid media programs and professionals

  • Experience developing and running marketing programs in a data-driven, integrated marketing environment

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Experience in performance marketing across channels
