Following on from recent success within the Real Estate Valuations team, we are now looking to expand our team and have Executive (Assistant Manager) level opportunities available. We are fully flexible on location (London, Manchester, Leeds, Scotland) and would be open to remote working where required.
Our diversely talented, highly experienced people advise FTSE 100 companies, government organisations, investment institutions and SMEs working across a wide range of industry sectors. They work at the forefront of high-profile transactions, where there is no room for error. This team of around 200 people sits at the heart of a global Valuation Modelling and Economics network of over 1,550 specialists, delivering high-quality advice through each phase of the transaction process: from pre-transaction strategic evaluations all the way through to the post-transaction consolidation. It’s a pressurised environment, but one in which skills are continually being developed.
The Real Estate team advises a diverse range of clients including property companies, banks, fund managers, institutional investors, developers, corporate occupiers and central and local Government. The team works closely with other parts of EY to provide clients with an integrated service.
Your key responsibilities
In your role as an Executive you will have responsibility for:
Undertaking the necessary research and preparation of audit valuation reviews, including contact with clients, valuers and senior EY specialists.
Working on a broad range of assignments involving a variety of assets supporting clients taking financial and corporate decisions that have a Real Estate impact.
Developing and use financial models that will be used to advise clients on Real Estate issues.
Working with industry wide software such as Argus Investor and Developer.
Undertaking research on real estate transactions by use of property related databases.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
An RICS surveying qualification or equivalent.
Property valuation experience, ideally in the UK
Committed to business development and able to identify opportunities to deliver the best value.
Energetic, lateral thinker with an enquiring mind and a commercial approach. High degree of personal drive and motivation to succeed
Ideally, you’ll also
- Be a good communicator and highly articulate (written and verbal), with high quality report writing skills to learn quickly and keep abreast of developments
