The Director of Technology and Transformation is a newly created role within the EY Foundation. As a member of our Executive Team, you will lead the transformation of the Foundation’s technology and digital operations, providing strategic leadership and delivering a series of high quality delivery outcomes.
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of an integrated digital strategy and application of digital technology across all aspects of the Foundation, which will enable us to continue to build our impact through digital delivery, reaching and supporting even more young people across the UK in line with our new 5 year accelerated growth strategy.
We are looking for someone with an excellent understanding of digital and technology solutions, with a successful track record of developing and implementing market leading solutions to service delivery
With significant experience of driving digital strategy and delivering digital programmes from design through implementation, you offer the personal credibility to engage with the most senior stakeholders around the digital agenda. Critically you will have the capability to maximise digital and technology opportunities, translating complex information into highly engaging content and will have a strong commitment to improving the lives of young people and achieving social impact.
You will have strong influencing and negotiation skills and an ability to form highly effective relationships across a wide spectrum of stakeholders.
About EY Foundation
The EY Foundation was established on the 1st July 2014 as an independent charity. We were founded by EY - the professional services firm – and a major corporate donor, to support young people disadvantaged in the labour market into education, employment or enterprise.
The EY Foundation is a pioneering model of a corporate Foundation. It brings together the professional rigour and resources of a large corporate with the innovation and dynamism of a start-up charity. It has at its heart the purpose of inspiring and supporting disadvantaged young people across the UK to fulfil their work potential. To do this we convene employers and other key stakeholders to reduce barriers to work for young people and enhance their employability.
The EY Foundation helps young people disadvantaged in the labour market to find alternative routes into employment, education or enterprise. Our work involves designing, developing and running our own services; Smart Futures, Our Future and Accelerate, as well as raising independent funds to support new initiatives and reach more young people across the UK.
We are unique in our position as the link between employers and young people, having strong existing relationships with both. This allows the services we deliver to have the capability to make both young people become employer-ready and employers become young people-ready. It also supports social entrepreneurs to grow their businesses so that they can also help young people get work ready and create local jobs for them.
Over the next coming years we are determined to build on our national reach across the UK and provide local services tailored to local need. We will do this by building relationships with:
A wide range of local and national organisations including: schools, further education and higher education providers
Employers large and small, across sector, social enterprises, public sector and charities all of whom can enhance our services and support young people
Intermediary organisations including Local Enterprise Partnerships and Chambers of Commerce
The EY Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of an independent Chair, Patrick Dunne, independent Trustees, EY Partners and Alumni, and an EY staff representative. Trustees have the responsibility for the direction, governance and financial stability of the Foundation.
