Your key responsibilities

As a Manager, you’ll balance client, business development support, operational and people development.You will advise and support global Supply Chain, Technology and Manufacturing leaders to define and deliver breakthroughs in performance through Industry 4.0 digital Manufacturing programmes. Key responsibilities include:
Support manufacturing digitisation superiors with developing strategy, framework, standards and governance in support of Industry 4.0 initiatives
Coordinate the delivery of Industry 4.0 projects and programmes
Develop technical requirements, reference architectures and specifications for digital manufacturing solutions in order to ensure consistent approach
Coordinate Proofs-of-Value efforts to determine digital solutions that eliminate manufacturing losses
Handle the technical design, development, validation and operationalization of digital solutions
Align closely with security and OT teams to ensure implementations meet security requirements
Engineer solutions to ensure scalability and reliability based on requirements and sizing
Integrate solutions with systems and third-party software both on premise or in the cloud
Focus on our clients
Build, maintain and strengthen relationships and be a trusted advisor in the area of Supply Chain and Operations
Be adept at problem-solving with clients and project teams, leveraging your skills to help manage projects to completion
Develop experience and relationships across several clients over time often as part of a team from different parts of EY’s world, whilst being able to maintain focus on current project delivery
Develop our business
Contribute to the development of proposals to showcase our leading practices and credentials
Engage the market with thought leadership and public profile, and contribute to enhancing our methodologies
Work across our internal sector and account field of play teams to develop your network, bringing expertise to bear

Support successful delivery of projects and workstreams as forecast to time and budget
Help ensure the quality of our delivery exceeds client expectations by effectively managing activities and deliverables within your remit

Typically, Managers bring practical experience from either a professional services or industry background where you have developed your Manufacturing experience (including Lean), project and programme management.You will understand Industry 4.0 systems landscape and technology standards in a typical factory, and bring experience of leading digital technologies such as: Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES); Connected Workforce Platform (CWP); Condition Monitoring Systems (CMS); Machine Vision Systems (MVS); Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Our Managers are required to possess good experience inManufacturing and Industry 4.0 design and programme implementation leadership, designing highly available applications with responsibility for infrastructure robustness.
Ideally, you will also have IoT understanding from connectivity and data management perspective, experience implementing IoT and analytics services and capabilities, and working with applications backed by cloud service. You may have familiarity with Agile and DevOps, or prior experience using application integration or SOA design patterns.
