If so then we have just the role for you; we have set up a brand new team to drive innovation across UK Financial Services Assurance by establishing a culture of innovation, developing innovative products, tools, and applications and educating our people in new technologies such as Robotics Process Automation (‘RPA’) and Artificial Intelligence (‘AI’). We need you to help us design, build and deliver new RPA solutions and tools that will vastly improve the quality and efficiency of our audits.

Your keyresponsibilities

  • Collaborating with Assurance professionals toidentify problems, inefficiencies and areas for improvement in our currentaudit process, designing practical solutions with cutting-edge RPA technology

  • Reporting to Automation Lead and managingdelivery milestones and workload

  • Involving in the feasibility analysis anddeveloping Proof-of-Concepts

  • Scoping, designing, building, testing anddeploying top-quality scalable RPA solutions

  • Supporting engagement teams in the developmentof their own RPA solutions

  • Working with Assurance teams to develop highquality client proposals

  • Promoting the team and their initiativesthrough both internal and external communications

  • Facilitating RPA trainings and mentoringjunior developers

Skills andattributes for success

  • Deep understanding of Robotic ProcessAutomation, vendors, and capabilities

  • Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, andanalytical capabilities

  • Abilities to understand complex businessproblems and to communicate effectively with clients, team members and seniorstakeholders

  • Ability to test, support and maintain the workof other solution designers, developers and testers

  • Abilities to adapt to flexible workstreams, towork in a team and to deliver independently

  • Practical knowledge of Blue Prism developmentbest practice standards

  • Knowledge of RPA technical infrastructure

  • A creative, open-minded, first principlesthinker who is willing to challenge the status quo and isn’t deterred byfailure

  • The ability to methodically solve business andtechnical problems using innovative and well-planned approaches.

To qualify forthe role you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science,Engineering, or Mathematics domain

  • Solid RPA development experience with BluePrism platforms (Accredited Developer equivalent)

  • Certification in Blue Prism as AccreditedProfessional Developer

  • RPA full life-cycle experience

  • Hands-on practical experience of at least oneprogramming language (.NET, Java, C++, etc.)

Ideally,you’ll also have

  • Knowledge of technologies such as MachineLearning, OCR solutions that can be leveraged to enhance the functionality ofBlue Prism.

  • Breadth of experience in softwaredesign/development and database architecture

  • Knowledge of OO design patterns and conceptsExperienced at working in financial services

  • Experienced at working in an agile environment
