If so then we have just the role for you; we have set up a brand new team to drive innovation across UK Financial Services Assurance by establishing a culture of innovation, developing innovative products, tools, and applications and educating our people in new technologies such as Robotics Process Automation (‘RPA’) and Artificial Intelligence (‘AI’). We need you to help us design, build and deliver new RPA solutions and tools that will vastly improve the quality and efficiency of our audits.
Your key responsibilities
Collaborating with Assurance professionals to identify problems, inefficiencies and areas for improvement in our current audit process, designing practical solutions with cutting-edge RPA technology
Reporting to Automation Lead and managing delivery milestones and workload
Involving in the feasibility analysis and developing Proof-of-Concepts
Scoping, designing, building, testing and deploying top-quality scalable RPA solutions
Supporting engagement teams in the development of their own RPA solutions
Working with Assurance teams to develop high quality client proposals
Promoting the team and their initiatives through both internal and external communications
Facilitating RPA trainings and mentoring junior developers
Skills and attributes for success
Deep understanding of Robotic Process Automation, vendors, and capabilities
Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities
Abilities to understand complex business problems and to communicate effectively with clients, team members and senior stakeholders
Ability to test, support and maintain the work of other solution designers, developers and testers
Abilities to adapt to flexible workstreams, to work in a team and to deliver independently
Practical knowledge of Blue Prism development best practice standards
Knowledge of RPA technical infrastructure
A creative, open-minded, first principles thinker who is willing to challenge the status quo and isn’t deterred by failure
The ability to methodically solve business and technical problems using innovative and well-planned approaches.
To qualify for the role you must have
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or Mathematics domain
Solid RPA development experience with Blue Prism platforms (Accredited Developer equivalent)
Certification in Blue Prism as Accredited Professional Developer
RPA full life-cycle experience
Hands-on practical experience of at least one programming language (.NET, Java, C++, etc.)
Ideally, you’ll also have
Knowledge of technologies such as Machine Learning, OCR solutions that can be leveraged to enhance the functionality of Blue Prism.
Breadth of experience in software design/development and database architecture
Knowledge of OO design patterns and concepts Experienced at working in financial services
Experienced at working in an agile environment
