We are a team of highly skilled assurance and Risk advisory professionals who improve client control effectiveness and programme efficiency through optimising the use of clear programme management methods and technology to manage risk and drive enhanced performance.

We have also recently launches our groundbreaking new fully accredited EY Tech MBA by Hult International Business School focused on technology, leadership and business skills; the entire program is delivered online, reflecting wider shift to virtual learning; and most importantly the EY Tech MBA is available to all EY people irrespective of prior qualifications or location.

Your key responsibilities

  • Working on a portfolio of risk management and programme assurance engagements with our clients, reporting to a Manager or Senior Manager, keeping to stated time and budget

  • Establishing client relationships with key project stakeholders

  • Working with prospective clients to agree, scope, and plan the delivery phase of engagements

  • Creating executive reports, ensuring the highest quality deliverables prior to review

  • Contributing to the creation of proposals and marketing material

  • Contributing to developing the market for risk and programme assurance services across all sectors

  • Acting as mentor and coach to junior members of the team

Skills and attributes for success

You will be a trusted business and risk consultant with project management and stakeholder management experience, using your knowledge of risk and assurance methods and technologies to meet client needs. If you’re ready to take on a wide range of responsibilities and committed to seeking new ways to make a difference, this role is for you.

  • Engaging and managing multiple stakeholders and cross-functional projects

  • Intellectual strength and flexibility to rapidly understand complex problems and rationalise these into a workable solution which can then be delivered

  • Developing current and relevant client propositions, delivering timely high quality output against stated project objectives

  • High level of drive, commitment to achieving solutions and ability to work under pressure

  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills

  • Strong executive report writing skills using various apps such as .ppt, power BI, etc.

  • Using automation and visualisation tools is a plus

To qualify for the role you should have

  • Experience in risk management and programme management

  • Previous experience with understanding assurance techniques related to large program planning, scoping, development and implementation

  • Strong organisational and project management skills

  • Technical and functional knowledge of risk and controls across key business processes

  • Exposure to using programme management technologies and visualisation

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Consulting skills from working in a consulting environment or comparable industry experience

  • Experience and interest in data and assurance and controls, evidence management, client management and continuous improvement
