The Advisory Services division within EY is focused on providing high value independent, trusted advice to our clients, with a focus on business transformation programmes that deliver sustained performance improvement. Working in our Supply Chain Transformation (SCT) practice you will work with our clients to bring to bear your deep knowledge in Supply Chain Planning, Business Transformation or Procurement.

The opportunity

You will actively establish, maintain and strengthen relationships both with clients and within EY to identify and support business development opportunities. Under the guidance of more senior staff you will articulate the value of our services to new and existing clients.

Your key responsibilities

  • Work effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress

  • Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties

  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel

To qualify for the role you must have

A deep knowledge and experience of Supply Chain Planning, Business Transformation or Procurement. You should have experience in a number of the following areas:

  • Supply Chain Strategy: operating model design, process efficiency, tax effective supply chain, operational performance improvement and core business review

  • Logistics and Global trade : ability to articulate and define logistics and trade challenges

  • Supply Chain Optimisation: r apid supply chain assessment, inventory management, global trade optimization, planning including S&OP, logistics, new product development and introduction

  • Performance Improvement: operational cost reduction, working capital reduction, manufacturing excellence, Lean & Six Sigma

  • Change Management: transition planning, business readiness, organisation design and process mapping

  • Advanced planning transformation: Working knowledge of latest trends in Integrated Business Planning (S&OP)

  • Data manipulation skills: Have experience in data rich environments and know how to extract and transform data from host systems such as SAP

  • Planning Technology: Practical knowledge of latest trends in Supply Chain Technology - SAP IBP, JDA, Kinaxis, OMPartners

  • Top of V model: Capable to map processes at all levels, gather and define business requirements, engage with change management and support implementation

  • Procurement Transformation: global procurement operating model design, Purchase to Pay performance improvement and procurement shared services and outsourcing

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Minimum of two years’ professional experience (industry and/or consulting) focused onSupply Chain Planning, Business Transformation or Procurement(as described above)

  • Strong experience or insight inone or more of the following industries: Automotive, Consumer Products, Defence, High Tech, Industrial Products, Pharmaceuticals, Power & Utilities, Oil and Gas, Retail, Telecommunications
