The Talent Pillar has been identified as an area of growth as clients increasingly require advice in building their people’s capabilities at a time when global demand for talent and scare skills is at its highest. As well as attracting and retaining individual talent, clients are also looking at how they raise overall organisational performance through the entire workforce.

This means building their capabilities, processes and systems in workforce optimisation, inclusion, organisational development and culture.

The opportunity

We require people who can build our service offerings, understand client needs, grow our internal capability and connect effectively across our global PAS to maximise our global knowledge and experience in supporting clients to build high performing cultures.

Your key responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include core consulting and program delivery across your area of expertise, project management activities will also include:

  • Structure and manage project workstreams to meet and exceed client expectations;

  • Support leading project management practices

  • Execute project management across the full lifecycle of programs

  • Support project delivery, budget, profitability and scope

  • Recognise and manage risks and issues

  • Be able to analyse complex problems and to deliver insightful, practical and sustainable solutions

  • Support development of business cases for change/ improvement

  • Proactively manage senior client stakeholders, including delivering difficult messages and managing performance issues, up to Senior Management

  • Take a practical approach to solving issues and gaining client agreement

  • Creates value for the client by demonstrating thought leadership, bringing new insights and delivering service excellence

  • Be professional, quickly establishing personal credibility and demonstrating expertise

  • Have strong personal impact and resilience, and be able to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for major changes and key decisions

  • Take a practical approach to solving issues and gaining client agreement

  • Be able to analyse complex problems and to deliver insightful, practical and sustainable solutions.

  • Be skilled in facilitating and encouraging collaboration amongst team members, and is capable of motivating teams to maximise performance

  • Be confident and effective in recognising and managing potential issues during client assignments

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Proven experience in one or more of the following: organisational development, psychological assessments, talent infrastructure, workforce planning, learning design (with a background in a complex global learning environment) and/or instructional design

  • Experienced management consultant/Talent professional with relevant experience in advising clients on large scale talent programmes and change projects within large and complex organisations

  • Proven track record of delivering Talent related projects

  • Experience of working on projects gained working within a professional services firm, global consultancy firm and/or large private and/or public sector organisations

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • A primary degree (from a leading university preferred) and any post graduate degrees and professional qualifications are also desirable but not critical e.g. CIPD
