Our UK Data and Analytics capability helps our Financial Services clients to deliver complex business and regulatory transformation, enabled by technology.
EY is investing in building our capability in data centric architectures and next generation technologies and is looking for an individual to lead our data architecture capability for Insurance.You'll have the amazing opportunity to collaborate alongside a vibrant, experienced team of Analysts, Developers, UX Designers and Architects in the Technology Consulting business.
We are looking for a Data Architect with strong Insurance industry and Financial Services Background and a deep knowledge of Cloud, Data Fabric, Edge and other disruptive technologies.

Your key responsibilities
Management of one or more client engagements, with responsibility for quality of delivery as well as engagement financials
Lead client workshops and proposals and develop thought leadership on data architecture and data strategy
Build and lead data architecture team for our Insurance Sector
work closely with Digital Transformation team and cloud team to build integrated solutions
Identifying and leading pursuit of opportunities for new business
Managing development of EY solutions and supporting tools and methods
Skills and attributes for success
Ability to successfully deliver multiple engagements, exceed client expectations, manage commercial aspects (e.g. contracts, billing and budgets), and manage quality and risk
Maximize team performance - accountability for ensuring a collaborative and committed way for teams to work effectively together, providing coaching and mentoring, and sharing knowledge
Proven ability to identify, develop, take to market and deliver market-edge solutions
Ability to engage with stakeholders at a C suite level and manage large cross functional projects
Ability to manage multiple stakeholder communities with varying levels of experienceIdentifying opportunities for and securing new business, including leading proposals and bid teams
Acting as a career counsellor to a small team and being involved in the recruitment process as required
High level of drive, commitment to achieving solutions and ability to work under pressure
Intellectual strength / flexibility to rapidly understand complex problems and rationalize these into workable solutions which can then be delivered
Appreciation of EY’s solutions / go to market abilities and how these service client needs
To qualify for the role you must have
Experience in implementing Modern Data Platforms & Data Fabrics in consulting or financial services organisation
Certification in at least one Cloud Platform
Excellent communication skills
Experience of team building and leading
Knowledge of Insurance process and platforms
Ideally, you’ll also have
Deep Learning & Artificial Intelligence
Design Thinking & Innovation
Broader Financial Service experience
Hadoop and Big Data
