Hello there, yes – you! Are you looking for that next step in your career? How about joining EY as part of our UK Brand, Marketing and Communications team?
We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to come on board and help us support the UK Head of Marketing with a number of key marketing initiatives to support the growth of our priority areas for the UK business.
Based in our Canary Wharf office, your role will be crucial in helping the business respond to industry issues and to deliver against its strategic priorities. You will be working directly with the UK Head of Marketing , to plan and deliver a range of marketing activity including, events, social, content and digital marketing.
Your key responsibilities:
To support the UK Fintech team:
Develop the UK Fintech marketing plan
Develop a range of assets to support the maincampaign, in addition to sub campaigns -Including videos, case studies, contentand social assets
Leverage any activity from Global and EMEIA Fintechteams and build relationships with key marketing contacts
Plan and deliver key sponsorships for the team
Continually review our FinTech positioning withinthe industry by developing a yearly events plan
Ensure the delivery of all events are on time andwithin budget
Develop relationships with key affiliates externalto EY To manage and runthe Non-Executive Director Programme (NEDs)
Develop a strategy and plan for the UK FS NEDprogramme which include multi-channel touch points for our clients
Manage a series of events that target senior NEDsand Chairs from our key priority clients
Work with senior stakeholders in the UK business toensure that the content and speaker for each event is inline with currentindustry issues and front of mind for a NED
Develop a relationship with the UK&I (non FS)NED marketing team and meet with them on a regular basis to leverage any eventsand content Ad hoc activity
Pick up ad hoc events and projects to support thewider marketing team
Capture ROI on all activity that you areresponsible for
Work as part of the wider marketing team to shareknowledge and best practice
Work as part of the wider event team to help atother events (early mornings and late evenings)
Ensure CRM tools are used consistently andchampioned
Drive internal campaigns to raise awareness of allactivity
Skills and attributes for success
Proficientin Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database management (CRM tools eg. Marketo)
Excellentinterpersonal and verbal communication skills
Aflair for writing and in particular experience in writing social content
Excellentproject management skills which includes running multiple projects at any giventime
Energetic,personable, team player with a flexible, “can do” attitude
Abilityto remain calm under pressure and juggle numerous commitments at any one timewhilst ensuring attention to detail
Innovativeand creative thinker
Confidenceto network with clients whilst hosting events and to manage/influence seniorpartners To qualify for the role you must have
Demonstrableexperience in writing
Experiencein organising, managing and running events
The abilityto juggle various different projects at any one time
A passionfor writing content and running events
Ideally, you’ll also have
The ability to remaincalm in a busy environment
The ability to manageyour time

Work as part of a team to deliver theoverall marketing strategy for the financial year ensuring timely events andcontent are effectively targeting the relevant audience
Writing, editing and proofreading contentto support your campaign.
Support senior stakeholders with thedevelopment and implementation of a series of innovative content focussedevents including webinars and webcasts, managing the delivery of those eventsfrom planning to execution.
Working closely with senior stakeholdersto ensure the overall maintenance of Mercury target lists (Mercuryis the internal databases for recording clientrelationships and marketing activity). What working at EY offers
