This is a fantastic opportunity To participate in the development, facilitation and deployment of “World Class Learning” to the UK & Ireland region (UK&I) in line with the UK&I Learning Deployment operating model. As a Learning Consultant you will be expected to perform some or all of the core responsibilities detailed below, contributing to the Talent Development team’s priorities and objectives.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Responsibility will be the management of a portfolio of courses or large scale conferences, with responsibility for the overall strategy of deployment for those events. This includes understanding course content, driving continuous improvement and making recommendations on the most efficient or innovative ways to deploy. Oversee the initial set up of courses and classes, the initial and ongoing participant nomination process, facilitator and material management, management of course financials, ongoing maintenance of records, course evaluation and ownership for course communications
Skills and Attributes for Success:
Maintain and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders relevant to your courses, being the first point of contact for your course within the business. The relationships may include service line resourcing teams, Course Managers, Facilitators, Learning Champions, Quality and Efficiency networks, Q&RM/PPD, Subject Matter Experts, External training providers, ROI and FSO. Act as trusted business advisor, providing recommendations and solutions to meet business needs.
Proactively act on evaluation feedback to ensure quality course deployment, theme feedback & present suggestions for change
Proactively lead on Facilitator Management for your portfolio of courses, including managing requests to the business, allocation of facilitators to courses where applicable, answering queries, relationship management and managing the information flow between the Talent Development team and the facilitator pool
Responsible for the output of your project team members, e.g. the Learning Coordinator and/or the TSS Learning administrator
Coach and partner with the UK&I TSS Learning administration coordinators to increase their knowledge, skills and competence within their role along with their understanding of the UK&I region
Coach and partner with the Learning Coordinators to increase their knowledge, skills and competence within their role
Work alongside the Learning Solutions team to implement new and/or updated learning content, support in identifying routes to market and testing new content with stakeholders.
Facilitation on EMEIA and Regional learning events
Realise operational excellence and contribute to continuous improvement through maintaining a thorough understanding of, and adherence to, the UK&I Learning Deployment Operating Model.
Manage external supplier relationships including BRET check and engagement letters
Embrace, promote and support learning transformation (both system and shift in delivery style) with stakeholders
Manage the relationship with other regions (such as FS UK, FS Ireland and Channel Islands) in relation to training dates and nominations
Manage the budget, accruals, forecasts and actual costs of courses you are responsible for, supporting all Finance related activities as set out in the Learning Deployment model
Ensure all participants within the population complete their mandatory training requirements in line with SL policy requirements
Provide on-site support for your own and other colleagues courses as required
Set strategy, design and manage learning communications and newsletters, including the SharePoint for the courses you are responsible for, in line with the Global governance model
Be the first point of contact for queries from the business in relation to the courses you are responsible for and respond to ad hoc Talent Development related queries
Support the hosting and production of online modules, webcasts and virtual learning projects. Advise on best practice, for example interactivity during virtual classroom sessions.
Lead on the creation of the annual course / programme schedule with guidance from Manager and input support from Learning Coordinator
Support the UK&I Talent Development function by undertaking other operational activities and contribute to strategic projects which deliver enhanced value to stakeholders
Support the induction of new team members
To Qualify for the Role you must have:
A desire to embrace and drive change whilst identifying and supporting process improvements and demonstrating best practice
A background and experience in project management, in the context of learning deployment or coordination, ideally within a Professional Services firm
Excellent people management, coaching and interpersonal skills
Highly organised with a sound attention to detail and an ability to deliver to deadlines
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Proactive in managing queries and able to escalate appropriately with a solutions mindset
Ability to interact well with people at all levels within the firm
