This is a great opportunity for an experienced communications and marketing specialist (with advanced tech/artificial intelligence background preferred) to work on a number of tech/AI focused programs to help deliver on global marketing and communications initiatives. The candidate will work across the organizations with colleagues from the Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) organization globally, public relations, service lines and regions to help manage internal and external programs. The individual should have experience in managing marketing and communications programs with a focus on advanced tech, and should be detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of handling multiple projects at once. The individual should be comfortable working across teams in a matrixed global organization. Success of this role will be measured based on the program metrics and engagement and the individual’s strength in high performance teaming in a diverse, global team.
Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will lead and execute communications and marketing initiatives for the Global Innovation team focusing on advanced tech and AI. You are expected to bring new ideas and creative thinking to the table as the team focuses on enhancing its brand in advanced tech and AI. You will also work closely with the Global Innovation BMC leader on building the overall innovation brand strategy and programs by providing the AI brand and marketing content and messaging. You will likely spend most of your time connecting with colleagues across sectors, geographies, service lines to create alignment with the overall innovation and technology comms and marketing strategy. You will also work with external agencies and organizations to build and execute programs that enhance the AI brand and story-telling internally and externally. To make that happen, you’ll need to demonstrate a good understanding of how to effectively translate the technology capabilities to broader audiences through impactful marketing and communications initiatives and platforms.
Lead and execute advanced tech and AI marketing and communications (internal and external) programs in a fast paced, dynamic global team
Collaborate across BMC, the Advanced Tech team of Global Innovation and regional/service line teams to build impactful marketing events/programs to drive awareness of the AI brand and storytelling internally and externally
Develop advanced tech/AI focused digital content and assets leveraging use cases and case studies for internal and external channels including ey.com, webcasts, social channels, as well as other internal/external events
Provide metrics and marketing analytics against all events and programs
Ensure budget management of all marketing spend

Excellent communication and networking skills – able to effectively manage and influence senior leaders as well as a broad range of internal and client facing professionals
Strong writing and written communication skills
Ability to work in a high pace, agile environment and work under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing multiple priorities effectively
Ability to synthesize complex information into simple, high impact messages to a global audience
Ability to initiate new ideas and solutions to solve challenges and problems
To qualify for the role you must have
Experience executing high level, integrated content marketing programs with substantial experience in professional services with a focus on tech/AI
A good understanding in tech product marketing and the latest trends in marketing and comms in this space
Experience building media and social media strategies and working with external PR and media agencies
Experience successfully managing multiple complex projects at a global level
Experience with the use of a variety of digital channels to deliver initiatives to targeted buyers
Bachelor’s degree with five to seven years of experience (or equivalent area of study or experience); professional or higher qualification in Communications, Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications
Ideally, you’ll also have
Good understanding of the EY business, key stakeholders and influencers and professional services
Previous journalism or PR agency experience is a plus
Availability for US and occasionally domestic travel
