Sales Architect – EY Nexus for Health

EY Nexus for Health (N4H) is EY’s newest ambition for continued growth in the Healthcare sector. Building on the success of our Nexus platform in financial services, N4H is a cloud native modern technology platform and product play in healthcare, focused on the payer and provider markets.

The opportunity

EY Nexus for Health is a rapidly growing platform and product for healthcare. We’ve outpaced our competition with both our investments and solutions and we’re looking for strong sales architect talent to join our team. We need team players with an entrepreneurial mindset and a penchant for modern and progressive technologies to work with our existing and new customer base to help grow N4H into the industry leading data platform. Think of N4H as a healthtech start-up with backing of EY’s brand and depth. You’ll spend most of your time working with clients to understand their needs and help model and design solutions to help them accelerate their competitiveness and speed to value in their respective areas of need. Ideally you will reside in the east or west regions of the US.

Your key responsibilities

  • You will team with various EY groups with digital capabilities to pursue and deliver digital engagements and deliver solutions that will bring our client’s digital vision and strategy to life

  • Provide leadership as a product-minded individual who understands the industry domain, client's business challenges, and how to leverage the right elements of the Nexus platform

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on our Nexus for Health technology offerings. Translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling value propositions that resonate with clients and stakeholders

  • Assist in generating revenue by selling, managing, developing, and growing a base of enterprise accounts through a strategic technical perspective

  • Prospect potential customers through targeted outbound activity and cultivation of existing customer relationships

  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to clients, showcasing the features, benefits, and real-world applications of our healthcare technology solutions

  • Considered the "quarterback" of the deal, pulling in the relevant parties necessary and working closely with the account team to convert opportunities to sales

  • Works with clients to understand problem/opportunity areas and how to shape the solution leveraging Nexus

  • Participate in all relative RFPs, product, sales, and process training and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective

  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, pipeline growth, and revenue targets

  • Supports in sizing and estimation models to arrive at pricing; drafts SOW to include technology design and delivery activities

  • Strong presentation skills to customers and internal colleagues

  • Providing product and platform demonstrations for prospective and current clients

  • Helping evangelize N4H internally and externally through compelling story telling

  • Working closely with the technology teams, account leaders and the nexus family

  • Communicating strategic visions to our clients, and helping them and their business development teams socialize the strategy to the greater organization

  • Assessing client business models and identifying new revenue opportunities within the context of brand, market, user, financial, and technology constraints

  • Collaborating closely with EY design, architecture, technology and cross-service line teams to ensure business requirements are deeply integrated into the user experience

  • Driving pitches and business development activities

  • Partnering with client services to help grow key large accounts and ensure client satisfaction

To qualify for the role you must have

  • 8 years or more of related work experience

  • 5+ years of practical market experience in Healthcare, Provider and/or Pay-vider industries

  • Former experience in solution architecture roles is strongly desired

  • 5+ years of experience in Architecture, big data, APIs, cloud, microservices, low/no code applications and disciplines are highly desired

  • 5+ years in a customer facing capacity with strong presentation skills

  • Flexibility to move where the role takes you and adjust to customer and market needs dynamically

  • A strong desire to learn and work on progressive and ever-changing technology solutions

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Certifications in respective technologies and disciplines are preferred

  • Experience in a consulting or healthtech company

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $163,400 to $373,300. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $196,100 to $424,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
