The opportunity

EY's Technology Solutions Delivery practice assists our national consulting practices in planning, pursuing, delivering and managing large, complex full lifecycle initiatives along with providing experience in leading practices, methods, and resources one of the top Cloud ERP solutions. Consultants in the Health Cloud ERP practice advise clients to understand, architect and implement the core applications and technology required to run their business. Our focus will be on helping our clients to implement technology to enable business and operational improvement.

Individual will work as part of a team or individually on the Finance workstream of one of the top Cloud ERP solutions: Infor v11, Workday or Oracle Cloud implementation, providing proven expertise during implementation, upgrade or redesign projects. General requirements include hands-on experience with implementations and/or upgrades of the Finance functional suite along with project leadership and subject matter expertise of modules within the suite (e.g., GL, AP, AR, CM, Grants, Project Accounting). Position works directly with client providing hands-on leadership, process design, application configuration and build support, training, testing, problem resolution, go-live support and change management. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the below:

Your key responsibilities

  • Support Finance workstream of one of the top Cloud ERP solutions: Infor v11, Workday or Oracle Cloud implementations including project estimation, initiation, planning, design, build, and deploy phases

  • Responsible for documenting business requirements, system design and transformational goals

  • Supports Finance lead to partner with clients to understand current state processes and define future state business processes based on business objectives

  • Support data migration activities from a finance business perspective

  • Help to configure applications according to requirements and design and conduct required testing (e.g., Conference Room Pilot, System Testing)

  • Understand Infor Implementation Accelerators and lead workshops to aid in design process

  • Support development of project documentation such as test scripts and training materials to support user adoption

  • Teach end users and conduct training classes in the technology

  • Provide post go-live support and problem resolution

  • Participate in program leadership, governance and change enablement

  • Assist practice leadership in creating proposals, budgets, and work plans between projects

  • Participate in other business development activities as appropriate (e.g., proposal presentations)

  • Continually pursue latest product features, functionality and technology innovations to stay current and add value to our projects

  • Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues

  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to meet travel requirements

  • Industry affiliations and/or technical certifications preferred

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Experience working with or experience deploying technologies solutions with the Health Sector (Healthcare Providers, Payors or Specialty Healthcare)

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS or related field

  • Understanding of financial and accounting processes including record to report, order to cash, procure to pay, period end close, and financial reporting

  • Three to five years of related work experience with a minimum of two years of one of the top Cloud ERP solutions: Infor v11, Workday or Oracle Cloud experience including full suite implementations and/or major upgrades of the following applications:

  • General Ledger

  • Accounts Payable

  • Accounts Receivable

  • Cash Management

  • Asset Accounting

  • Treasure Management

  • Close Management

  • Understanding of extended reporting capabilities with solutions Infor (Birst), Oracle and/or Workday

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • A Master’s degree
