Your key responsibilities
As an Associate Creative Director (ACD), you will lead the creative vision, strategy, and delivery of multiple design efforts, while maximizing growth for individuals on the engagement team. You will understand the cross-functional needs of our clients and their customers, and translate those needs into clear, actionable, end-to-end creative strategies that connect the dots across multiple workstreams. You will define the conceptual direction for projects and collaborate across disciplines to ensure the delivery of compelling and usable digital experiences.
You will be a visible leader in the creation of design culture at EY, one that is built around the celebration of creativity, user-centricity, and diversity. Someone who can communicate strong principles and methods in experience and visual design disciplines plus have a strong command of related disciplines, including research methodologies. You will also serve as a mentor for other design practitioners, including several resources on the client side. You are a team leader who seeks to provide increasing levels of responsibility and identify opportunities for people to acquire new skills.
Skills and attributes for success
We are looking for an Associate Creative Director, who will be accountable for engagement deliverables across workstreams while leverage EY leading capabilities. Someone who will establish and maintain design standards on a global design system, utilization of design tools and frameworks, oversight of development implementations, and design QA. A leader who sets a vision in ambiguous environments and creates clarity out of chaos for the team. Someone who can establish the creative environment for the team to work and thrive in. A team member who builds strong relationships with clients; identifying opportunity areas and driving change and improvements. A team member who can work with engagement leadership and project managers to establish and maintain standards and practices, manage client and project expectations while serving as key day-to-day client contact for design and workstream teams
To qualify for the role you must have
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UX Design, Industrial or Product Design.
A minimum of 10 years' experience in the field with progressive leadership responsibilities.
3+ years' experience supporting complex, digital transformation projects.
Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Abstract, Keynote, InVision and other creative design software.
A portfolio that reflects design experience and leadership.
The ability to travel outside of your assigned office
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
Ideally, you'll also have
Rich experience communicating and interacting with clients.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; writing, publishing and conference-level presentation skills.
A passion for all things Design-related as well as other areas of design and innovation, including research
Knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies and be active in the design community
