Assurance Advisor - Assurance (FIDS - GCS) (Manager) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, McLean, Virginia.

Advise companies on the rules and regulations of obtaining government contracts. Provide advice on strategies that help maximize revenue and mitigate the risk of contract noncompliance. Perform assessments and develop compliance programs. Provide financial and economic analyses to improve contract accounting. Implement process improvements for contract bidding and estimating systems. Manage key components of multiple GCS engagements, including strategy, planning, risk assessment, team management, engagement economics and delivery of exceptional client service. Assist with systems integration and computer modeling of financial and cost data specific to GCS clients.

Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.


Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Information Systems/Technology, Law or related, plus 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive experience; OR a Master's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Information Systems/Technology, Law or related, plus 4 years of related experience.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience:

o In government pricing and related systems integration; and

o With data analytics.

Must have 4 years of computer modeling experience

Must have 2 years of cumulative experience with SQL, PL/SQL, VBscript, and UNIX/PERL.

Must have 1 year of experience managing projects; supervising teams consisting of two or more staff members; and conducting project progress meetings with clients.

International and domestic travel required up to 50% to meet client needs.
