Job Summary:

The Senior Pricing Architect will operate as a member of the GPS Business Development team and be responsible for building, maintaining, and operating pricing/financial models in support of GPS new business pursuits. This role will operate in a fast-paced proposal environment and work closely with account/proposal team members developing price proposals while ensuring compliance with RFP requirements, EY policy, and schedule adherence.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Lead/support the design of competitive pricingproposition for specific client pursuits, achieve an appropriate EYcommercial return, and manage key risks – working closely with the pursuitleader, solution architect, legal, commercial, negotiations, risk, andindependence.

  • Build, maintain, & runstandard pricing/financial models; confirming accuracy of cost, price,margin, and other relevant financial metrics

  • Present the pursuit business case for internalapprovals using EY’s costing and pricing policies; articulating theexpected financial performance, risks, and upside

  • Capture knowledge that can be used to support GPSpursuits embedded in EY’s approach– eg updated costing and pricingpolicies, models, and pricing competitive intelligence

  • Review draft and final RFPdocuments to determine all requirements and available pricing strategiesbased on Sections L and M

  • Build & populate customersubmission pricing exhibits

  • Providenecessary business volume information (price, discounts, subcontractorinformation, etc)

  • Buildand maintain strong relationships with internal clients, proposal teams,and colleagues

To qualify, candidatesmust have:

  • Federal pricing experience, including understanding ofthe federal procurement process, contract types, and RFP’s

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite of tools; Word,PowerPoint, and high-level proficiency in Excel

  • Planning, time management and organizational skills

  • A strong working knowledge of a professional servicesorganization

  • A minimum of 5 years of pricing experience

  • A minimum of 8-10 years related experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relateddiscipline or equivalent experience

  • Minimum Secretclearance eligibility
