The Connected Growth Platform supports our strategy to become the most connected, responsive and insightful consulting firm. The CGP will focus on managed services, digital and emerging technologies (including cyber), service delivery centers, EY wavespace™ and select system implementation practices. The CGP capabilities will be infused into our service offerings and go-to-market execution to provide our clients with cross-sector insights and integrated capabilities across all government and public sector, commercial and financial services sectors in the US. This integration will allow us to move faster, work smarter, and achieve more with our clients.
Commercial Enablement (CE) is a multi-disciplinary team formed to advance EY’s ability to sell, shape and contract large, transformational opportunities across EY. The CE Team is primarily involved in large deal pursuits, Managed Services offering development, account strategy and growth, and serves as deal advisors and leads across the firm’s highest value client pursuits.
Your key responsibilities
You will work directly with EY professionals, leaders and clients to define and execute win strategies as well as shape and contract large deal opportunities for EY Advisory Services. As a Commercial Enablement Team Manager, you will:
Manage bids and pursuits – track, organize, and execute deal closing, negotiation and contracting
Lead complex quantitative and strategic analyses – develop commercial models to track and estimate deal financials, and gain fluency in alternate fee arrangements
Shape and structure long term deals and Managed Services opportunities, including win strategy, financial strategy, commercial terms and overall engagement structure
Identify and develop opportunities – work across service line and sectors to sell and secure work and convert into revenue
Build and maintain strong relationships – develop and own relationships with clients and internal delivery teams
Develop high-performing teams – manage and develop people through effective leadership, coaching and mentoring

Ability to analyzing RFP (Request for Proposal), SOW (Statement of Work), and MSA (Master Service Agreement) documents to fully understand the business deliverables and scope of work from a financial perspective
Demonstrate strong organization skills, with capability to work independently to plan, structure, and execute pursuit activities. Show attention to detail and continually produce work of high-quality
To qualify for the role you must have
Bachelor's degree and approximately 4 years ofrelated work experience in in strategy consulting, managed services, solution sales or related fields; or a graduate degree (MBA, JD) and approximately 3 years of related work experience.
Demonstrated abilities in one or more of the following areas:
Sales execution and origination for large / complex services deals
Management or strategy consulting
Quantitative analysis and/or financial modeling
Contract drafting and negotiations for large / complex services transactions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical writing and client presentationsusing tools such as PowerPoint/Excel/Word
Willingness to travel to meet client needs and ability to travel internationally; travel is estimated at 5-10 weeks per year, for employees based in the New York Metro area
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience with solution architecture or product management for technology services, managed services or other professional services
