The opportunity

Strategy Performance Improvement is a significant growth focus for EY’s Advisory business. We are seeking highly motivated Strategy Managers, to join our team.

Our Strategy practice consults with clients to interpret and understand the drivers behind profitability to improve performance and growth. Individuals within EY’s Strategy team are highly analytical, creative and not afraid to tackle complex commercial problems.

You will work with some of our largest clients to help them to plan and develop corporate strategy to drive growth within domestic business units and international subsidiaries. You will work with senior line and ‘C level’ decision makers; ‘problem solving’ and ‘brain storming’ to develop frameworks and methodologies to tackle their most pressing challenges and business opportunities. This position will see you working closely with other groups in our Advisory practice; driving growth and implementation of operational strategy.

Your key responsibilities

In your role as a Manager in the Strategy team you will:

  • Prepare and deliver to clients proposalsand other sales supporting materials

  • Manage client stakeholder relationshipsat executive level

  • Work with the business leaders todevelop the practice and execute go to market plans

  • Build strong internal relationshipswithin EY’s Advisory Services and with other services across theorganization

  • Contribute to staff recruiting,retention and development activities.

To qualifyfor the role you must have

  • A minimum of 5years’ experience in a relevant industry/consulting role, working on numerousprojects

  • A Bachelor'sand/or post graduate degree in business, commerce or a related major.

  • Strong projectmanagement, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

  • Advancedwritten and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.

You will impress us with your technical skills, however, it will be your strong communication skills, ability to build and develop relationships and commitment to delivering excellence in client service that will stand you apart.
