The opportunity

The EY Melbourne Transfer Pricing team is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant or junior Manager. The Transfer Pricing team is part of the wider International Tax & Transaction Services team which operates across Oceania, providing access to develop your experiences not only on transfer pricing specific projects but within the wider context of international tax projects and ‘transactions or deals’. Your key responsibilities

  • Applying complex transfer pricing concepts and economic/financial knowledge to resolve client challenges

  • Providing a fully integrated approach to transfer pricing by preparing documents and assisting in defending transfer pricing in audits/investigations by applying innovative transfer pricing and economic principles

  • Modelling financial outcomes assets and developing practical planning approaches

  • Prepare and negotiate Advance Pricing Arrangements with ATO and other tax authorities

  • Project managing multiple engagements to ensure they are delivered to time and budget

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Minimum 4 years Transfer Pricing experience in a relevant role either from industry or professional services background

  • Demonstrated experience in assimilating complex information and data sources to provide succinct and well-informed recommendations to clients

  • Strong teaming and leaderships skills with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to stay abreast of wider legal, economic, environmental and political factors that influence transfer pricing

The preferred applicant will be subject to employment screening by EY or by their external third-party provider. Regarding this role, the minimum salary is $81,500 including 9.5% superannuation.
