In the Melbourne team our consultants will have the opportunity to work across Australia, and at times the wider Oceania region. We have major clients in consumer products, power and utilities and government.
About the opportunity
Your role as a Senior Manager will encompass a range of activities such as:
Managing a portfolio of client assignments on engagements that are driven by their desire to move to a digitally enabled world.
Developing IT strategy, architecture and solution design (including package solutions) and IT operational effectiveness.
Developing business cases that demonstrate the benefits of agile technology and the commercial benefits of moving to the As-A-Service Economy.
Programme and project management of fast paced IT Transformations to allow our clients to take advantage of Cloud, Mobility and Analytics.
You will build valuable relationships with external clients and internal peers and develop a portfolio of business by focusing on high impact opportunities that leverage your technology and sector expertise
We’re looking for people with the following experience:
Strong business writing, presentational and communication skills
A track record of delivering business value from IT either by aiding clients develop and govern their enterprise architectures or by providing solution architectures in response to particular business needs
Have a proven ability to be able to take a ‘big picture’ strategic view as well as being able to work at a detailed level across a broad range of technologies and approaches.
Have a track record of delivery from a number of IT-enabled transformation projects, taking ownership of solutions and managing change while taking responsibility for both internal and external client relationships.
Have experience in seeking the alignment of business and IT, operating across organisational and technology "silos" to drive common approaches, delivering sustainable, agile and reusable solutions, IT cost optimisation
Have a track record with a consulting or systems integration firm or as an IT Manager within a leading Enterprise/Organization
Be comfortable working with senior executives, including CIOs and CTOs
Ideally have experience in one or more of the following specialisms: business intelligence, service management, mobility, IT security, cloud-enabled applications, SAP integration, digital technologies, data platforms, advanced analytics
Developed people through effective supervision, coaching, and mentoring
