Consulting Senior Manager, AI & Data, Health Sector

The opportunity
EY is making substantial investments in its award-winning AI & Data practice. You will assist our health clients in both developing their AI strategic vision and executing on that vision to inform future opportunity plans, scale for growth, and mitigate risks. We look to you to bring deep sector-focused insights and advanced knowledge of the business drivers to help our clients navigate the complex world of modern data management, AI cloud platforms, data and analytic products, data science, AI-risk management, and emerging AI technological development.
In this capacity, you will help EY develop and deploy AI tools, support analytic solution design, go-to-market strategy, playbook design and craft thought-leadership. Your key responsibilities
As an AI & Data Senior Manager, you will lead a team of junior members, collaborating with a diverse client base to articulate, formulate, and implement their AI strategies. Your role encompasses establishing AI strategies, governance and risk management frameworks, AI operating models, defining appropriate AI solutions and tools, and overseeing technical design, development and scaling of AI capabilities within client environments. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all capabilities comply with internal enterprise policies, procedures, and necessary regulatory compliance and security standards. Specific responsibilities include:
Leading project teams, pursuit teams and coordinating with a diverse client base in translating strategic business objectives to articulate, formulate, and implement their AI strategies.
Guiding clients through their AI strategies, governance and risk management frameworks, AI operating models, defining appropriate AI solutions and tools, and overseeing technical design, development and scaling of AI capabilities within their environments. This role will be responsible for testing that all capabilities comply with internal enterprise policies, procedures, and necessary regulatory compliance and security standards.
Being an expert on the latest health and wellness technology, products and use cases related to AI, big data, responsible AI (Artificial Intelligence) / Machine Learning (ML), and Internet of Things (IoT)
Organizing and leading EY business development for prioritized solutions, and serving as a thought leader by bringing market leading insights to find, strategize around, and capture new markets for driving business growth
Leading the development and socializing of strategy for developing EY data and analytic solutions, assets, and accelerators
Hosting interactive sessions and workshops with business, technology, industry, and executive teams on topics for developing data and analytic assets in response to mega-trends
Lead strategic data and analytic alliance partnerships for developing cutting-edge solutions so solve our client’s business problems

Deep knowledge in healthcare to include understanding of critical challenges for payers, providers and integrated systems as well as ability to translate business needs into appropriate technical solutions for healthcare clients.
Extensive expertise in the realms of Artificial Intelligence, Data, and Analytics.
Monitoring progress, managing risk, and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
Managing expectations of client service delivery.
Applying combined business and technical knowledge to develop and execute ModelOps target architecture that enables implementation and monitoring of AI at scale
Leading and collaborating with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Cloud Engineers, MLOps Engineers, DevOps to implement and sustain ModelOps target architecture in client's platform of choice
Collaborating with clients to understand their business objectives and develop tailored Responsible AI strategies aligned with their values and regulatory obligations
Collaborating with the client's team to integrate ModelOps solution into their existing ecosystem
Understanding clients' overall data, AI and technology landscape and business priorities and success measures
Cultivating and managing business development opportunities. Developing and maintaining long- term client relationships and networks.
Developing thought leadership for your area of expertise to help strengthen EY’s brand in the data management space.
To qualify for the role, you must have
A bachelor’s degree and 8-10 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing data and analytic strategy in health care
8 -10 years of professional consulting experience in business or technology consulting or similar roles developing and implementing data and AI solutions in health care
A proven track record of driving revenue within existing clients and developing new prospects at the “C” level of Fortune 500 companies
Strong data science and/or data engineering experience working with healthcare clients
Strong knowledge of AI technologies and frameworks
Working experience with Agile and/or Scrum methods of delivery for data and analytic products
Proven track record of understanding business challenges and translating them into value-add solutions - strong analytical and problem- solving skills - actively participate in brainstorming, identifying core issues and effectively finding and using data and AI to manage complex analysis
Communication is essential, must be able to listen and understand the question and develop and deliver clear insights
Outstanding team player
Ability to manage and prioritize workload, work independently, and scale through delegation
Ability to adapt quickly and positively to change
A valid driver’s license in the US; willingness and ability to travel to meet client needs, travel is estimated at 30%
Demonstrated leadership and project management experience, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive successful outcomes
Ideally, you’ll also have
Bachelor’s Degree or above in data and analytics, information systems, statistics, computer science, or related disciplines
Master’s in Applied / Business Analytics with a health concentration, Master’s degree in Business or Health Administration with a data and analytics concentration, Master’s in Health Informatics, or Master’s in Public Heath
Experience in leading business or IT transformation projects that have supported data science, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, and cloud applications at scale
Working experience with design thinking
Microsoft, AWS, ServiceNow, or Snowflake Certifications in the Data & AI domain

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $142,600 to $325,800. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $171,100 to $370,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
