Your key responsibilities
A Senior in the sourcing and strategic partnership area will be responsible for supporting client engagements across the full spectrum of sourcing and strategic partnership solutions including: sourcing strategy development, market research on providers, price and performance benchmarking, contract analysis, RFP development, vendor selection support, business case analysis, negotiations support, transition and transformation management support, establishment of vendor governance capabilities and benefits realization management.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
Three to five years of experience as a consultant in the ITO or BPO field or comparable industry experience
Knowledge of IT or BPO services including but not limited to delivering across the full life cycle of sourcing including the ability to advise clients on complex commercial structures, strategic sourcing, and workforce decisions, and enabling the execution of such decisions.
Experience supporting projects for diverse sets of clients in the IT and BPO space. Examples include establishment of strategic managed services arrangements for IT and BPO services, understanding of how to transition services, and how to establish a lasting vendor governance structure that can manage benefits realization on behalf of the client organization.
Ideally, you’ll also have
Demonstrated experience working in cross functional teams
Experience working with a Big 4 or boutique consulting firm
Experience supporting professional services sales
Professional communications skills (written and verbal)
