Our GPS Technology Organization is a structure within the US GPS practice that implements and maintains a new operate and technology model designed specifically to support U.S. defense and Government engagements.
As the Azure Gov Platform Product Manager, you’ll lead a group of professionals focusing on platform architecture and engineering, supporting delivery of solutions to the GPS practice. You’ll be accountable for design, engineering, delivery and maintenance of solutions in Azure Gov while driving relevant technology standards, providing stability, security, auditability, and performance. You’ll work with other teams to design, deploy, test solutions for GPS while keeping automation, maintainability and reliability at forefront. We are looking for a leader who consistently thinks about new creative, modern approaches and is empowered to make decisions, focusing on execution and delivery.
Your key responsibilities
Defining the strategy and roadmap of Azure Gov Platform and available products within the Azure Gov Platform
Managing a group of engineers dedicated to secure, automate, and integrate solutions through collaboration with InfoSec, Risk management, Solutions Architecture and Operations teams ensuring business case and customer satisfaction goals are met
Responsible for thought leadership ensuring offerings supporting organization’s overall strategy and goals
Establishing strong relationships across EY Technology and aligning organization towards the goal of sustaining a healthy technical dept ratio
Proactively evolving and applying DevSecOps methodologies, standards and leading practices
Ensuring re-use through consumption and expansion of shared platform technology assets
Applying modern development standards/principles, product-specific guidelines, security standards, usability design standards, as appropriate
Providing direction, training and support for GPS Platform Engineering and App Support teams
Identifying, communicating and mitigating Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Decisions throughout full lifecycle
Using critical thinking consider the art of the possible, comparing various options based on feasibility and impact, proposing measurable plans and roadmaps that balance tactical and strategic needs
Providing regular updates about cloud platforms direction and release plans
Partnering with internal customers to validate requirements and priorities through various forums (analysis, meetings, focus groups, etc.) and refining those requirements for broad market applicability
Skills and attributes for success
Strong technical knowledge and/or specific domain expertise
Highly advanced technical proficiency in designing, developing, and debugging platforms in cloud
Highly advanced knowledge of one or more cloud technologies and cloud products
Knowledge and experience of team management, risk management, IT standards and policies formulation
Excellent knowledge and experience on project management processes and project controls
Communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to contribute as a leading member of distributed teams passionate about delivering quality services and solutions
Able to distil complex technical challenges to measurable and explainable decisions
Ability to inspire teams by building consensus and mediating compromises when necessary
Demonstrate excellent engineering & automation skills in the context of cloud based global platform/product delivery using continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD)
Demonstrate ability to learn new and emerging technologies with ability to rapidly define engineering standards and produce automation code
Operational abilities including early life support and driving root cause analysis and remediation
To qualify for the role you must have
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred
More than 10 years in an engineering role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms
3+ years functional knowledge of programming, scripting or data science languages
2+ years CI/CD delivery using code management, configuration management and automation tools such as GitHub, VSTS, Ansible, DSC
Experience with: Azure and Azure specific platforms
Multi-system Integration using industry standards such as REST, API, JSON, SOAP, etc
Extensive relevant industry experience required, demonstrating working knowledge of relevant software infrastructure platforms (depending on specialism) and understanding of applicable standards
Experience performing DevOps engineering
Experience with any claims-based authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA, RBAC, or ABAC
Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
Experience with resilient and highly available mission critical technology components
Experience with multi-tier service design and operations
Delivery using modern methodologies especially SAFe Agile, Iterative, Waterfall, etc
Must be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret Security clearance
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience as a prior Product Manager responsibility

Technology, Security and/or PMI/Product Management certifications

Denver Salary Range: $139,100 - $229,300
Hartford Salary Range:$139,100 - $229,300
Stamford Salary Range: $153,000 - 252,200
Las Vegas Salary Range:$139,100 - $229,300
