Consultant – Fraud Investigation and Dispute Services

EY is looking for Consultant to join the Fraud Investigation and Dispute Services team. These roles will require long term working on clients’ sites in and around India. The role would involve working directly with Partners in FIDS Team.


The opportunity

We’re working with industry- leading anti-fraud and forensic data analytics technologies to develop innovative recommendations to some of the most challenging fraud and risk issues around. Since we work with such a diverse portfolio of clients across industries, you can expect to take on a wide range of modeling techniques, making this a great place to develop your technical and business knowledge.

Your key responsibilities

  • Balance your time between directly liaising with our clients to understand their needs and actively analyzing complex data

  • Using your technical skills to creatively assess and resolve our clients’ needs from the front lines

  • Thinking differently about fraud, developing effective fraud teams and speaking up with innovative ideas that challenge the status quo

  • Conceptualize and implement strategic solutions to address risks of fraud, corruption and leakage

  • Developing long-term relationships across a network of existing and potential clients, understanding their businesses to provide tailored insights

Skills and attributes for success

  • Should have done consulting to clients.

  • Managing the key components of a portfolio of Fraud Investigation and Dispute Services projects, including strategy, planning and execution

  • Constantly developing your understanding of our clients industries, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.

  • Using technology to distribute your knowledge of leading-practice and enhance service delivery

  • Has good communication and interpersonal skills to manage both Clients and Teams

To qualify for the role you must have

  • MBA, supported by significant work experience.

  • Preferably needs to have few years of Big 4 experience

  • Flexible to travel and work extended hours

  • Experience in market facing and has worked directly with Clients in both sales/execution driven environments

Ideally you’ll also have

  • Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.

  • Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)

  • Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.
