Senior Manager/Manager – Digital GPS - eGov– ITAS
EY is looking for Senior Managers and Managers to join usand deliver a co-managed service across Mumbai. These roles will require long term working on clients’ sites in and around India.
As part of our Digital Government & Public Sector (GPS) team with expertise in Taxation, you will join a talented group of professionals to help governments and public sector organizations improve their Tax planning, budgetary and financial performance.
Your key responsibilities
Manage multiple projects, engagement economics and receivables, project resources and team utilization
Lead the delivery / execution of high quality deliverables and manage service quality, brand and client expectations
Contribute to brand development by writing articles, developing thought leadership and point-of-views
Contribute to knowledge development and management
Manage clients & accounts and built professional relationships
Meet business development targets by identifying new opportunities with existing and new clients
Demonstrate significant industry / solution expertise
Be a strong team player
Build a strong team and be a strong role model, mentor and coach
Assist in resolving people issues
Support people development through guidance and feedback
Take the lead in recruiting activities
Ensure compliance to the firm’s standards, processes and policies
Contribute to the firm’s initiatives in enhancing market leadership & growth, quality, people agenda and operational excellence
Skills and attributes for success
Should have experience in managing eGovernance / IT projects in Government and Public Sector Units
Should have worked in area of projects relating to IT enablement of Commercial Tax. One Should have a strong understanding of the Commercial Tax domain and be able to understand the linkages between various processes
Preferably with international experience
High initiative and drive, positive attitude and high commitment
To qualify for the role you must have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or CA and Post-Graduation (MBA) from a reputed university. (BE + MBA combination is welcome).
Preferred PMP/ TOGAF certification
Minimum 10-12 Years of relevant experience in IT / ITeS sector OR Government / public sector that includes at least 4-6 years of consulting / Post MBA experience:
By consulting experience, we mean experience in Performance Improvement - IT Advisory, Business Process Re-engineering, Business Planning, Bid Management and Program Management
