Data & Analytics Senior Manager - Insurance Data Management

Your key responsibilities
You will lead diverse teams of professionals across different geographies to deliver a wide range of data and analytics services. You will solve complex issues and drive growth across personal lines and commercial insurers. Your success will be aligned to the fastest growing insurance practice that is leading the industry.

To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor's or master’s degree
Around 8 or more years of related work experience in insurance with a focus on data management or analytics
Practical experience in leading and managing teams through a development life cycle – requirements, design, development and testing
Insurance specific experience in owning data related work streams on large programs with demonstrable knowledge around policy, claims and / or billing operations.
Practical experience using the following tools and technologies:
Advanced Analytics:SAS, R, Python, SPSS, MapR, Flume, Hue, Impala, predictive analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence
Information Management:SAP BODS, Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, Talend, SQL, Hadoop, Hortonworks, Cloudera, Kerberos, Apache Sentry, Knox, Cloudera, Collibra, AWS, Legacy vendor software
Excellent leadership and teaming skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Prior experience in project management and client serving roles using the Guidewire Software is preferred i.e., PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, DataHub and/or InfoCenter
Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into value-add insurance data management and analytics solutions
A willingness and ability to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 80%-90%
Valid driver’s license in the US
Ideally, you’ll also have
Adegree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field; MBA/EMBA or MS degree preferred
Prior Guidewire or related consulting experience
