NTD EY Foundry/Innovation – Technical Product Manager – Senior level

The Foundry is a New York-based team of entrepreneurs, product managers, operators, and strategists who have a proven track record of turning ideas into successful new growth businesses, such as EY TaxChat and EY Navigate. In April 2016, EY acquired this team out of Highnote Foundry, a venture capital and venture services firm, in order to build and launch new businesses for EY Americas Tax.

EY Americas Tax is a leader in corporate tax services, includes EY Law and EY People Advisory Services, and is aggressively pursuing innovation to define the tax function of the future for the world’s largest multi-national corporations.

The Foundry currently has a portfolio of projects in various stages of development, which address these key areas through FinTech, LegalTech and HRTech solutions.

The opportunity

As a Product Manager, you know what it takes to design, develop and drive the adoption of great digital products and services.

Your key responsibilities

Working with strategists, designers, developers and other key stakeholders, you will be responsible for concepting, designing, and developing digital products and services.

You will create personas, conduct product research to inform concepts and new features, design products in collaboration with designers, and develop the corresponding user stories and requirements. You will manage the product backlog, work day-to-day with the engineering teams to clarify requirements and recommend alternative approaches to meeting business requirements when necessary.

You will conduct ongoing experimentation and evaluate user feedback, usage of the product and key metrics, with an eye toward continuously improving the product and user experience. You also will drive ongoing market and user research to shape the longer-term product strategy and product roadmap.

Key attributes for success

  • Passion for creating products and experiences that resonate with users and demonstrate strong adoption

  • Experience working in Agile, on mobile product development, and on customer-facing digital products

  • Some technical knowledge from formal education or practical experience

  • Proven track record of success launching and iterating customer-facing digital products

  • Ability to synthesize input from multiple sources and prioritize accordingly

  • Willingness to experiment and iterate until you arrive at the right answer

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline

  • 2+ years of solid product management experience

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to learn quickly execute independently with minimal guidance

  • Excellent oral, written, and visual communication and presentation skills

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $92,600 to $169,700. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $111,100 to $192,900. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
