The opportunity

Our PAS practice provides services to manage the cost and risks involved in HR plans, programs and systems related to a global workforce. We advise the part of business strategy related to people. As a PAS Concur Senior Consultant and member of the Business Travel Solutions team, you’ll be a Concur subject matter resource providing Concur functional recommendations to clients that are implementing Concur. You’ll have the opportunity to serve as the Concur Expense functional consultant that works with global clients to address their most complex travel and expense challenges, and ultimately improve and drive sustainable business results.

Your key responsibilities

With the Business Travel Solutions team, you’ll join a talented group of professionals that provide Concur Travel and Expense functional knowledge to help our clients implement Concur. You will be expected to gather requirements, design solutions, configure the system, provide test support and support our client’s deployment of Concur’s Travel and Expense solution.

You will be engaged in complex advisory work; working with colleagues all over the globe, making process recommendations, writing correspondence, providing authoritative advice/guidance, and reviewing solutions. Directly engaging our clients is vital, be ready to question and negotiate to provide results.

Key attributes for success

  • Gather business and functional requirements for complex, global clients that are wanting to transform existing travel and expense processes

  • Work closely with the client to design the overall solution by making recommendations to adapt existing processes to take advantage of Concur functionality

  • Develop high quality project deliverables including design documents and solution recommendations for specific areas of concern

  • Ability to configure the Concur system to meet the overall solution design and exceed client expectations

  • Knowledge of the Concur reporting solution with the ability to write queries and develop reports

  • Continue developing and maintaining travel and expense industry knowledge to provide best practice recommendations to clients

  • Provide guidance to the project manager to develop the overall project plan

  • Generate revenue through identifying follow-on engagement opportunities and developing lasting relationships with clients; identify potential risks and opportunities to improve processes and acquire new business; contribute to business development and client pursuit activities

  • Lead workstreams from planning to implementation – managing resources and budgets effectively

  • Managing, coaching, and developing junior resources and peers, focusing on their technical and client service skills to develop their career

  • Ability to travel approximately 50% for Concur implementations

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor’s degree in related field

  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience implementing Concur: Big 4, global management consultancy firm, niche consultancy or in-house role with exposure to large-scale projects

  • SAP Concur Expense Administrator certification preferred

  • Concur configuration skills with ability to configure Concur to meet the solution design

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to confidently influence colleagues and clients

Ideally, you’ll also have
