Your key responsibilities

You would review financial statements for high-net-worth individuals and their related family entities, which would include analyzing and reviewing bank/brokerage accounts as well as private equity and hedge fund capital statements. You would also be responsible for supporting managers, senior managers, executive directors and partners in fulfilling consulting/coordination services as requested by client and review checks and wires prepared by bookkeepers as well as related general ledger coding. Other duties include coordinating submissions and ensure payments are remitted timely.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

  • Practical accounting experience

  • CPA or eligibility to take the CPA exam

  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple commitments

  • Ability to perform in highly interruptive conditions

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Effectively able to communicate with all levels of the engagement team and client personnel

  • Understanding of client’s financial situation

  • Awareness of budgets and has the ability to work with managers on keeping within budget

  • Promotes a professional and positive attitude

  • Ownership of work product and client engagement

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Successful problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to perform under time constraints and meet deadlines; strong sense of urgency

  • Detail orientation

  • Ability to identify issues and offers solutions and recommendations

  • Supportiveness of firm goals, policies, and guidelines
